SubhanAllah.

People fall to such levels and label laypeople (members of the forum) to be Mufti's.

Of course when Ulama are given information way out of context, they will call it every name under the sun.

Any fatwa that was posted was a representation of very respectable and knowledgeable Ulama and Mufti's.

It's a shame people have to lie to get attention.

I feel sorry for the Ulama who are given false information, especially about the labels of the members and feel especially sorry for those who have lied by taking things out of context (intentionally or unintentionally) because they are simply doing themselves injustice.

I bet I can put a name to the one who wrote that letter with added lies.

They've once again targeted Muadh_Khan and lied to the world that he has made the claim of being a Mufti, let alone a Mufti of the highest class.

I wish these trolls would own up to the shaikh and just tell him the whole truth, they blame us for being on forums with sisters, and they participate, they lie that we are muftis, LOL! They spread lies, they spread rumours and all they get is a kick.

We exposed their secular behaviour, we shamed them of their higher education, we corrected their basic knowledge, we didn't give in, we didn't hide, we posted the works of real Muftis, so they dropped to the levels of deception. If only the shaikh was given the other side of the story, this little henchman would have to hide for the rest of his life.

Jealousy, pride, arrogance, lies, defamation of others, fame, one upmanship and much more leads to this cowardice behaviour. Tut tut tut.

How sad.. i have not followed those recent threads on women attending Masajids etc.. but this "concerned" fatwa seeker seem to have similar shades with a slanderer who painted a Jamaat of believers as debaucherers..clutched in shaytaniyat etc.. while he himself enjoyed chatting with ghair Mahrams till unholy hours on the pretext of Amaliyat..

what a Hypocrite

I would like to remind the frightful warning by Nabi (saw)

to such slanderers.

Does the questioner actually feel proud about his achievement of getting us all officially labeled as "brain-filthy munafiqs"? I don't care about my personal reputation, as I am a no one. But I find this article extremely disrespectful towards the pious Ulama (like Mufti Farooq hafizahullah) under whos patronage MuftiSays was initiated... and I'm sure with whos Du'as the project is still blessed. Besides that most users will agree that the thread where the mentioned discussion took place went out hand long time ago and maybe deserved to be closed earlier or at least moved into the debate section. To be honest I only saw this happening on MS after many users from SF joined. Guys, let's not ruin this place...

I'm fully aware the question was posed in an extremely biased and quite deceptive manner, but as a flawful and irrational human being I'm slowly losing the respect for "the Majlis" which was left. May Allah ta'ala enable us to appreciate and respect all our righteous Ulama, no matter of which spectrum of Islam.

This was waiting to happen.

I clearly hinted to the mods by reporting posts and replying too to not allow fatwas by SA (polarizing the lay Muslims, and esp. bad publicity for Deoband and Deobandi ulamah and madaaris)...

The brothers here who are giving the benefit of the doubt to the above Ulamahs - please please consider this, be honest with yourselves.

Disable guest posting on tabligh, tasawwuf and all delicate matters and disable filthy language fatwas of any ulamahs from all over the world, if these ulamahs had been barelwi or salafi would you allow them to be posted?

Rather we would take that as an excuse to heap criticism on them.

So why allow Deobandi? Just because they call themselves Deobandi?

Please...why are we fooling ourselves?

Think about the future, people are going to get more online and reading these so called fatwas.

The modernists need this excuse...

Why don't you guys see through this?
