I would like to know whose knowledge has particularly impressed you. I will start with some sort of list. It can be those who write or those who give lectures;

1. Shaykh younis jawnpuri. I have hardly seen a person as knowledable as him especially in the science of hadeeth
2. Slightly controversial choice-uwais namazi. Very well read and can speak on almost any topic. Pretty sad that he has many strange views.
3. Mufti Umar faooq-Once again phenomenal knowledge especially hadeeth.
4. Shaykh mujahid ali-good maulana who is very well read. Great person to ask questions and have a good discussion
5. Maulana zameelur Rahman-student in south Africa. His research particularly against the brelvi sect is very good
6. Shaykh abul hasan ali nadwi rh. His books, outlook etc was phenomenal.
7. Shaykh salman nadwi-a lot of deep thought and analysis on current affairs
8. Shaykh yahya nomani-A lot of insight
9. Shaykh abdul kareem zaydan-interesting written works
10. Shaykh saleem nawab-tafsir of quraan

Here is my list

1. Mufti Saeed Saheb Palanpuri (HA). Downloaded a lot of his bayan. Highly academical yet easy to understand for layman like me. I will recommend to all who can understand urdu.

2. Maulana Tariq Jameel Saheb (HA)

3. Imam saheb of my masjid.

Apart from above three I very rarely listen to others.

Mufti ibn Adam al-kawthari has great knowledge and insight. He has gained knowledge from both deobandis and arab scholars so you can see that depth and broadmindedness in his talks and writings.

Shaykh Muhammad Amin Kholwadia Saheb, Chicago. He is a deobandi and Masha Allah; you must sit in his majlis to make your head spin. I admire him.
