Your welcome. The video says that cupping is being taught in 38 States across USA, so how comes it is illegal!
simple.muslims practice it regardless of the ban.most hijamists are not doctor m.d's.inshallah there are some concerned brothers trying to have it passed as a religious duty or ritual.you can also check broken earth.org.they have more detail on that issue.

@sister Taalibah, Watch video 3, it has some interesting facts and I think I may have been worng, Allahu Alum.

It seems that my diagrams with different points for cupping would be null and void.

If you know the sisters at Health Means Wealth, may be you can ask them to look into this too.

Jazakallahu Khair.

@brooklynyte4ever. I have noticed that the book mentions 2 cups or four or six. But according to others, it is best to use odd numbers as can be seen other Hadith about other topics, for example, the Prophet (SAW) would use 3 or 7 portions and also it is sunnah to eat the dates in odd number to get the full benefit from it. Odd numbers have been mentioned too many times in the Hadith and the Quran, Allahu Alum. (please refer to page 96-97 of the book) When I had my cupping done by a proffesional, he also mentioned that I should have 1, 3 or 5 cups and that the blood should be taken out via the suction in odd numbers too. Could you give further details regarding this too please, Jazakallahu Khair.

Inshallah odd numbers of extracting blood can be used as long as the cupper knows how much to take out.

.
The sisters should void Amin sheikho's book on cupping . I trulely thought that everything they said was correct but I was wrong and the majlis corrected me on the rules of cupping. So my sisters should never mind my earlier statements.

6 cups are average.8 is the max one can extract from the cupped person.from experiance it holds true.alot of wisdom in what these doctors say.doctor ahmed fadel is in charge of the research department is the secretary whom i now.they are the best.i tried them all and allah lead me to these brothers.i can only say that they got this sunnah right and of course, allah knows best just to be safe.
salams brother.i learned that the ulema of deen need to be asked the masails on hijamah and not scientists or doctors. Please disregard my earlier statements in using Amin sheikho's as an authority on cupping.

My uncle is Paralised from the waist down and has had many many treatments but to no avail. He is Diabetic too and is very worried about having any blood taken out from his body due to the information the doctors have given him. Doctors told him 20 years ago that he had 6 months to live, SubhanAllah. He believes he got Malaria whilst studying in Pakistan (memorizing the Quran), ever since then his health got worse. The doctors say that his arteries are very fine (thin) and should not risk any kind of operation, therefore he refrains from the blade.

I would really like to help him as he has been in this state for about 20 years, we pray for him all the time. His daughter has also done the cupping course but as far as I know, he still has not had the treatment done before. She has taught taught her husband who then practices on brothers, Alhumdulillah, may Allah reward them both. MashaAllah, they have achieved much at a very young age.

I really find it difficult to explain to my uncle and convince him to get this treatment done. Khair InshaAllah, I will pass the videos onto them and inshaAllah, by the will of Allah, he will at least try this method of our beloved Prophet (SAW).

Fascinating Read A whole new dimension! Taken from the book above. (I must admit, they haven't proof read the book properly, anyway, I will make the changes in the quote below)
Quote:
What about the human body and what do we know about it? It is another sea. It is one of the seas of the universe. Diving into it and delving into its secrets would be a kind of miracle of the time. It makes man fall prostrated to the greatness of its builder and founder. The human science is still at its early daybreak of exploring and verification of this sea ''the human body'' in spite of the high technological advance. Yes! Let us travel every day to the shiny hands of God while doing miracles in these cosmos, in the mountains and in the sea, and in the sky “And also in your own selves. Will you not see” The Holy Qur'an, Fortress (51) Adh-Dharyat (21) Let us kneel to this great hand in hope the luminous water of real life may penetrate into our thirsty hearts, in order to be infatuated with Him the Almighty, to be free from these materialistic screens that stand between us and Him and His love the Almighty. Then we may have the high state of reverence for Him, and return to the instinct of perfection in order to save ourselves from the eternal loss. Our energies are deposited in our trust, and this deposit is temporal, it will not last. Tomorrow, we shall be without sight, hearing, smelling, willing, air, water, sunlight, or moonlight; and we shall be without brothers or friends where aspirations decline and we lose hope in a ditch in the ground ''the grave'' which made a reward for our pursuit and panting after this world without penetration through it to its most High Maker. For These reasons and for His love, mercy for us, God, the Almighty, knows all that, and after having varied His bounties and graces, he made us look at loss and extinction, and since we are rational and our religion is logical, He elevated us by His Prophet (PBUH) by what He conferred upon him (PBUH) of the sciences, secrets and miracles of this world, and the science of the true psychiatry. So he “the prophet (PBUH)” unveiled to us some secrets of the spirit saying; man is always with whom he loves. So, if any one adheres himself to something or somebody other than God, he is cut off. Everything happening in the universe is passing to extinction except God.

The book on cupping by Amin shekho has some good points but it should not be relied on as a fiqh book on hijamah. Amin shekho's arguement on when, where or who can be cupped holds no water. Please disregard the book.

When I had my first cupping session done, I was not sick or had any problems, Alhumdulillah, I just wanted to have another Sunnah to my name.

I was asked by the cupper how I felt and he said I needed to relax and that I may feel a little dizzy.

My reaction: I was over joyed, I said to the cupper I felt awesome, not because of any physical change but the spiritual feeling I felt of having done a Sunnah that not many will ever even hear about. I tried to describe my feeling and the only thing I could compare it with was when I managed to kiss the Hajr Aswad with ease in a very dangerous atmosphere without doing any wrong to any one. I was overjoyed by tasting the Sunnah.
