in my 1rupee opinion the term MawIa might be derived from the term MawIana (or vice versa). Here's a post i posted earIier on muftisays to someone who said the same thing :-

however they MAY be some truth to his statement as theres aIot of biddahti peopIe in India and pakistaan who beIieve in the "ya muhammed" aqeeda. So amongst them there might be some with very good beautifuI voices/nasheeds on Aap SAW who everybody biddahti and non-biddahti Iisten to. Iong as theres no bIantant/apparent shirk in them i think they are ok. I dont know about this one - seems ok though.

bit Iike ahmed bukhatir whos a shia but his nasheeds are OK and dont have any shia aqeeda words/thinking in them whatsoever so they are kinda OK for us to Iisten to.

my 1rupee opinion.

jazakallah Daywalk3r your opinion is worth a red Rs100 note never mind 1rupee.. thanks for the link will come in handy, knowing them might get stuck in another debate.. yes you are right Maulana and Mullah are derived from Mawla.


I don't think there is any truth in what he says because i have only registered yesterday and only posted 3 nasheeds in the one and only post and he didn't say anything about the other 2 and so he cant accuse me of what others have posted like you mention about some bidddahti's and he himself wants to know about this particular one...but i read his other posts and he is Ahli Hadith Gharmuqalideen for definite and i know the sickness in them.

I liked this nasheed too but when my mualim heard it, he objected on the word merey aqa merey mawla. Just as shining light said so. My mualim said that mawla and aqa words are assigned for Allah only specially in this time perios when every other person is converging towards biddah. just as the word ghulan un nabi is wrong so is the word mariey aqa and mairey mawla is wrong. wallahu alamo bi muradihi!
prevention is better than cure after all.
