here in Pakistan we have a few Islamic schools.. what happens is that we have some Islamic schools which are run by people of not your Fiqh.. so you teach your child the hanfi fiqh and they learn something else there... so they sort of get double minded.. Or just practise what the school says any way..
One school is if the Sahih Aqeeda and fiqh Masha Allah.. good tarbiyah but the quality of secular education isn't too good.. its decreasing.. and people question whether they should send their kids there or send them to some secular school? Secular schools here also aren't really good... talking about O/ALevels the environment is pretty bad.. co education and the evils which come with it. even in non co education non o/a level schools the environment isnt that good...
once in a school there was one child who you used to act really oddly.. the teacher didn't understand his attitude.. one day his friend told the teacher that this boy comes to school while being drunk!
there is smoking and so on..
One thing I have noticed that if you raise your children in bad environment.. they cannot accept the Teachings of Islam easily.. you talk about Deen.. they laugh.. not on the talk but generally.. like not really interested..
what's your opinion on this?
sending the kids to school with not "THAT" good secular education and then improving his skills at home with hard work.. (my opinion)
