JazakAllah brother, i must appreciate it. Great work, indeed. You have put so much effort in this. May Allah accept it from you and make us steadfast on the sunnah.

The first main paragraph is not complete.

Please rewrite this sentence.
Quote:
Tahneek?
It is from the Sunnah to soften a tiny piece of date or something sweet and to rub the lightly place it in the mouth of the baby.

In conclusion, my first post in the thread was sufficient proof that the professor is not educated enough. :)

I have changed your suggestive text a little. BBC article is about premature babies it is dangerous to give dextrose to a healthy baby as you will spike the sugar.

Date is perfectly fine.

I'll tell you what unhygienic is!

Probably something your professor would never talk about as unhygienic:

Applying spit or saliva on a cricket ball and then passing the ball on to other players who then apply some of their own spit or sweat and carry on playing.

The problem is that these people who abandoned the Sunnah will always look for errors, but when it comes to leisure or pleasure, they won't find a fault.

Someone came to Shaykhul-Hadeeth (Maulana) Zakariyya (RA) and said eating with hands is unhygienic and disgusting and spoons should be used! Shaykh (RA) asked him why is that?

The guy said that you eat, you place your fingers inside your mouth and then you touch the food with the same fingers.

Can anyone spot the obvious stupidity? :P

Then what difference does it make? You eat, you place spoon inside your mouth and then you touch the food with the same spoon.
