Private Forums

Assalamoalaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh

This topic has been started to enable users to create private forums in which contact details can be exchanged for the purpose of networking and making known services provided by individuals for the benefit of the ummah.

If you would like to create a private forum, please reply to this topic with the following:

1. The specific purpose of the private forum (i.e. Sisters' Arabic Classes)
2. The group mod if it's not you
3. The type of group required: 
   - PRIVATE: only for those selected by the organiser 
   - OPEN: open to all who subscribe (subject to approval of the organiser)
   - CLOSED: can be viewed by all users, but is not open to subscriptions 

Please note that only registered users with 50 or more posts may create a private forum, and that all requests are subject to approval .

could this not be done by sending a pm through admin the first time? then obviously exchange e-mail & personal details direct??

The private forum facility enables members to contact each other and all the members involved at one time, without the need to exchange e-mail addresses etc..

The whole group can know what is happening merely by reading the posts online.

Also phone numbers and relevant information can be safely passed on to that group alone.

A new feature which many can InshaAllah benefit from.

how can i submit a post in the private forums section, in particular the arabi classes?
i cannot see an option where i may post information.

The above link goes straight to posting a new topic. However when i click 'Private Groups' on the top it says 'The forum you selected does not exist'.
