Quote:
Maulana Mohammad Yasir's series - The True Creed of The Salaf[/quote]

I believe it would better to put the title first and then the speakers name in as well as in the other threads.

anyone seen the refutation by salafi sheikh abdur rahman, seems quite convincing. he uses opinions of sahaba on sifaat of Allah and claims sheikh yasir doesn't even mention the salaf

I asked if anyone had seen his refutation for a reason, I'm guessing you haven't otherwise you would've understood the statement regarding the salad. Please watch the video first and then refute it or agree with it

Asalamualaikum.

Akhi, you're right, I'm not even familiar with the scholar let alone watching his refutation video. Kindly, provide a link I can pass on to the Maulana.

Btw, I was merely just commenting on the fact the Maulana has provided a plethora of quotes incase you haven't watched the entire series as of yet.

Refutation of finer points of Aqidah is not the job of common Muslims. Rather, it's the Ulama who deal with that issue. This bid'ah of interrogating and debating the common Muslim on these finer aspects of Aqidah are the fitan of pseudo salafis.

It's from the established practices of Islam not to expose others to fitnah. So please, keep that to yourself.

Salam

Not convincing at all if I'm honest, and the dawah man seems to take a lot from him.

However it's been dealt with already, see here :
ahlussunnah.boards.net/thread/252/answering-imran-dawah-m...

Shaykh Yasir is also currently doing a series dealing with dawah man's remaarks about deobandi aqeedah being hidden and tasawwuf and terms like wahdatul wujud etc, to be honest I'm not impressed with dawah man's rhetoric at all as he's applied stuff and taken some random terms of tasawwuf and taken it completely out of context. Having a large following online means nothing, he should stick to what he's good at, accept his mistakes, try to rectify and move on.

Aqidah of Sifat does not depend on the Salaf or anything else. Having a wrong belief about the Sifat which contradicts Allah's Tawhid is kufr. It does not matter if a person has even heard about the Qur'an or the Prophet. Believing in Allah and his Sifat is a duty for any human at any place at any time. Your argument is filthy because it excuses kufr.

Your argument is in support of every kafir and mushrik. The Hindu follows only the Salaf of the Hindu religion. The Christian follows the Christian Salaf. Everyone just follows his Salaf and everyone is excused. Nobody has to believe in truth anymore. Indeed this argument is kufr. Fear Allah.
That's no Islamic argument. The Prophet came to his people and called them to the Tawhid and their most important reason to refuse was that their Salaf (ancestors) where upon Shirk and they don't accept Tawhid because of this. The same was with the people of Ibrahim when they where asked if their idols have any power:

"No, but we found our fathers doing it (worshipping the idols)" (Surah al Shu'ara 74)

And I just now saw who this Abdurahman is. I know this person from Youtube videos where he wants to refute Islamic teachings and promote Salafi teachings. How can you take this person as a shaykh? I expect some so-called Noor in the face of a Muslim and especially a Muslim preacher. What I see is a man without Tawhid without any foundation in Islam. A man who is blind and blindly repeats what he learned from his also blind teachers.

Note: the Noor I mentioned has nothing to do with his skin color of course. We only judge people because of religion.
