The Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated: “And the Quran is a proof for you or against you”. The Holy Quran can be two things for you. Either it will be a witness for you on the Day of Judgement it will be standing against you. Rethink that how long it has been that you haven’t read the Quran? Think will the Holy Book of Allah be able to defend you or not? O Allah! The most Merciful! Grant us the will to recite Quran regularly to make it a witness for us on the Day of Judgement and save us from the hellfire.
