He tries to be a bit over the top when he and his student try to frame themselves as being moderate Hanafis that are neither Deobandi nor Barelwi... However, it is well known that Mu'tazilism and Hanafi usul had a close tie and overlap at times. Not to say some of our usulis were either Sunnis but had Mu'tazili tendencies or were Mu'tazilis.

It is true that many Hanafis today don't focuse on the important formal principles of the Hanafi madhhab. The whole discussion about why to follow a madhhab is done when explaining what principles of fiqh are and how they differ. However most things are already cleared by the scholars from the past so that there is rarely the need to make a new ijtihad based on the principles usul of a madhhab.

But all these true things have nothing to do with the filthiness that is promoted by the apostates on top with Atabek. The Mutazilah are dismissed because of some non-sunni positions. But they are considered to have been knowledgeable and pious MUSLIMS. To even say that Atabek's trash gang has anything to do with the Mutazilis is an injustice. The Mutazilah would have made takfir of them and applied the ruling of apostasy on them which is death like they did when they had power. Killing heretics goes against the fundamentals of Avicienna Academy. But the difference between Mutazilah and Atabek is not just in this banal example of killing apostates. There are more important points regarding belief and fiqh.

Avicienna Academy has almost never a proof for their positions from old hanafi scholars. The only issues where they use to cite from scholars is when it is about minor issues like praying behind bidati imam, rebelling, prayer times.... but in Aqidah issues and really important rulings they never quote or just blatantly misquote. There's no religion in any of this scum.

Brother I suggest you fear Allah regards to takfir. On what grounds are you qualified to make takfir of a person and of a whole academy including their students?!

As regards to him refraining from takfir of hindus, can you bring quotes directly from him substaining this view? JazaakAllahu Khayra.

There are some of his students who are not meant in my criticism. Many people just want to learn about religion and find this academy good and simply live in or around Sheffield.

Atabek considers all people to be Muslims basically. It's extremely hard to become a Kafir in his theology. Therefore he does not declare Hindus to be kuffar in general.

Salam Alaykum,

The next to last article on Asharis Assemble seems to be espousing a sort of perrenialist idea about who will and will not be saved, and attributes it to the "real Maturidis" - it might be worthwhile to look into it, though no Maturdi sources are explicitly provided. Wa Allahu A'lam.

The apostates from Asharis Assemble and Shitabek Shukurov's Avicienna Academy claim to have found the actual Maturidi creed. This supposed Maturidi theology considers Asharis to be worse heretics than the Mutazilah. They are basically trying to make the Maturidi and Hanafi way a Mutazilah-"philosophers"-way. They base their Fiqh and Tafsir on Mu'tazili Hanafi scholars. They try to relativize the differences between Maturidis and Mu'tazilah and to overstate those between Maturidis and Asharis. Of course this doesn't mean Mutazilah were even close to what these filthy apostates are upon.

The differences between Asharis and Maturidis are known and they are not fundamental. We all know that most of these differences can be reduced to differences in semantics and formulations.

The issue about the fate of disbelievers to whom the religion hasn't reached is one of those differences. The Asharis say everyone who has not been given revelation will not be punished whatever he/she believed. The Maturids say everyone has the duty to believe in Tawhid without excusing ignorance of Prophets/revelations. We have to look what the real difference here is and of what kind it is. The point is BOTH Asharis and Maturidis say that any person has the mental ability to come to the insight about Tawhid. They don't disagree here. What they disagree is whether Allah will still punish a person or not. Whether Allah will punish someone or not is not a kalami issue. It is a naqli issue. It therefore depends on the interpretation of scripture. In the fundamental issue = the possibility of the insight of Tawhid without revelation both groups are united. It's just about punishment.

Now the apostate leader mmmclru, may Allah end his life painfully, is fetching up Imam Maturidis view in this issue to something totally new. While Imam Maturidi said everyone has to consider what the truth may be and at the end HAS TO come to the belief in Tawhid. "mmmclru", may Allah end his life painfully, stops Maturidis statement at "has to consider what the truth may be" and ignores that Maturidi never ever excused a sane and healthy person from kufr.
Maturidis position is the total opposite to what they make from it. It was meant to destroy any excusing of kufr but they use it to excuse nearly every kufr.
