They have differences in fiqh but they are generally united in aqeedah. They are staunch followers of the aqeedah of Hafiz Ibn taymiyyah.

They are both almost identical. The original wahabis were staunch hanbalis however and this is true to some extent with the ulema of the harmain. The ghair muqalids have been increasing their foothold in the harmain as is shown by the likes of wasiullah abbas. This is why I find it very strange that our mashaikh try to align themselves with them or try to claim the Imams of the harmain sharif are one of them. Even in attire you get some deobandis and their alims dressing exactly like the salafis. Instead of wearing a whtite shawl which is closer to the sunnah many wear the reddish one which is once again an influence from the saudis.

I checked out the images of shemagh, yea its the shawl with mosaic pattern on it.
So it wasn't a sunnah? I don't know much about the turban n stuff.

Did the Prophet (saw)

ever wear a shawl like a hood?
Where did the arabs get this attire?
Any idea on this history?

Lol. I don't think the 1st 3 are from the sunnah.

I had a doubt if hood/scarf was a sunnah.
It seems dr76 confirms it.

It very displeasing that you guys belittle this Deobandi Alim and stick to your own stubbornness ..you should accept haq when you see it.

Molana Abdul Abid knows more about salafi's plus Ahli Hadith than all of us put together in this forum..see his debate "Teen Talaq debate-"whenThe ahli hadith's are defeated .

The salafi's might have been staunch Hanbali when they strayed from the Ahl as sunnah wal jamat but because of them it doesn't mean there are only 3 Madhabs now??.. not all haramain ulama are salafi..the are hundreds of Deobani Ulama residing in the haramain's some as teachers there ,others giving dars..why don't you clarify with ulama...the example is like the Brelwis who cant differentiate between Wahabi and Deobandi..It is better to wear a topi with a scarf on than praying bare headed.
