Another point he makes is that just as some sicknesses are not treatable similarly it is not necessary that a person suffering from jinns or magic can be cured. Such a person should make similar sabar as an ill person makes.

But if the sickness can be cured then it is wajib to get treated, cure or no cure is in the hands of Allah SWT.

There are authentic sahir. First be convinced that authentic sahir exists, sihr exists, cure exists.

Normally the comments on sihr or Sahir are by people who are not affected by sihr. People who have got affected know the agony and need for cure.

No-one is denying that you shouldnt take the cure. Mufti saab is saying that the cure is in the last two quls and that professional amils dont have it.

But one shall hear from right aamil who cures sihr. There are sihrs done by kaafirs and mushriks, very hard to cure them. Even muslims visit the kuffars and do it in our haqqani ulema and leaders. So Eitedaal is the correct word here. And when in danger of being attacked we must take necessary precautionary steps like, not sharing clothes, burying cut nails and "hairs with roots", reciting or listening to ruqya or manzil regularly.

Use, misuse and abuse. Just because something is misused and abused one should not hesitate to use it.

that was a sad time in SF history. forum was full of threads about amaliyat, sihr, jinn and the like....juicy stuff but of little benefit.

in one of those huge threads, the main brother giving advice was probably a biddati judging by the scholars he praised and some of the duas he recommended.

I'm actually waiting for brother dr76 to pop into this thread... I had another list somewhere where Dr saheb posted a whole list of amaliyat books by deobandi ulema, can't seem to find it at the moment.

WARNING: So guys please and others who may be reading, no DIY amaliyat stuff please, it can be severely detrimental. We are just talking theory at the moment let's keep it that way.
