In the book,al-Ṭibb al-Rūḥānī, al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn al-Jawzī takes us through various aspects of these two processes. He offers precious advises on how to dispel blameworthy qualities like pride, jealousy, greed, anger, miserliness and others. He also counseled the seeker on how to engage the soul, and train it so that it may be inclined to good and allow the cultivation of praiseworthy qualities.

I remember going through this for a little while, until I got bored of the way the lecturer speaks and explains things, found myself dozing of a lot.

However it still does contain some beneficial stuff. 'If' you can manage to sit through it then it has some good stuff in it.

Just my personal take on it akhii, each to their own, however I prefer Mufti Abdur Rahman Manghera's oratory style better, his lectures on breaking the two desires and other lectures on spirituality are quite awesome.
