Had a bad weekend?

How about this true incident

Quote:
We were doing a barbecue in the garden when my phone rang. My hands were dirty so I didn't answer and I normally don't answer the phone when its from abroad as I tend to call them back.

Anyway, the phone kept ringing so I guessed it was important. I answered the phone to some horrible news.

My brother in law was sitting in his shop (his dad's sweet shop) when the police turned up. One police officer went inside the shop, pulled the shutter down and picked up all the money from the till, picked up his HTC mobile and PSP, them blind folded him beat him. Another police officer was standing outside whilst the third was waiting in the jeep.

They accused him of theft and possession of a gun!

They took him to jail and hung him up upside down and beat him with batons under the feet and his whole body.

They wanted him to admit the crime. He was adamant that he hast done anything wrong.

They wanted him to confess to something, but he refused. So they kept hitting him.

He proved that the goods were not stolen by getting the receipts etc from the wholesalers.

Anyway, they wanted him to confess about owning a gun nd he refused. He got beaten severely but wouldn't break and continued to refuse.

They eventually phoned the family and said "Your son is in jail, pay 5 Lakh Pakistani rupees and take him away. (RS 500,000)

My in-laws are very poor, they pleaded with the police until they came down to 3 lakhs.

The police gave them until sunrise and said if the payment isn't made, you can find his body in the field.

My in-laws borrowed money, sold all the gold that we gifted them and all the stuff we took, all gone. They managed to raise the moneyand Alhumdulillah released him after the battering.

When they asked the police for a reason, they said it was a mistake, we've given him tea and Paratha so take him away. When they asked for the phone back and the money since it was mistake, the police denied taking the phone, etc and said We can't return the money.

Alhumdulillah, he's safe and at home now.

Really gutted at these so-called Muslim countries.

ASTAGFIRULLAH.

That's dreadful to hear, I'm so sorry for what's happened. Is there anything you can do from here?...and I thought I had problems...Alhumdulillah alaa kulli haal.

Our duas for your brother inlaw, and for you and your family at this difficult time. Can't imagine what your family must be going through. Allah سبحانه وتعالى grant him Sabr and safety. May Allahs wrath be on the oppressors and grant him a safe return, and may the truth prevail. Aameen

Salam,

Split and moved to news (with permission from abu mohammed).

Please let us know how we can make a fuss about this?

Media? Pakistani news channels? Did anyone record the incident?

I am certain a little noise can be made about this no matter where we're sitting

When I first heard it from brother Abu Mohammed, I thought his brother-in-law was in Bangladesh. Because it's a very popular trade of Bangladeshi Police. An identical incident:

www.humanrights.asia/news/urgent-appeals/AHRC-UAC-081-2010/

A recent shocking incident (RAB is the abbreviation of "Rapid Action Battalion"; it's an elite force composed of members from all security forces of Bangladesh):
Quote:

Narayanganj Killing, Abduction

3 Rab officials 'dismissed'

Elite force boss assures JS body of not protecting anyone found guilty

Three Rab officials have been dismissed from the services for their alleged involvement in the abduction and killing of seven people, including Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam, according to sources.

They are Commanding Officer of Rab-11 Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad, Maj Arif Hossain and Lt Commander SM Masud Rana.

Officials at the Armed Forces Division told The Daily Star yesterday that they were yet to receive any order on the officers' dismissal, but confirmed that the trio have been suspended from the army and the navy. They are now being interrogated.

Another source said a military court of enquiry was probing their alleged involvement in the abductions and killings. If found guilty, they will face court martial.
At a weekly cabinet meeting on Monday, the prime minister firmly said the culprits would be punished no matter how influential they might be.
"The government will show zero tolerance for the culprits and this is the prime minister's firm stance," said a government source.

Lt Col Tareque is a close relative of an influential minister.

Two days after the abductions in Narayanganj, the home ministry withdrew the commanding officer of Rab-11 and three police officials. Later, two more Rab officials were withdrawn.

As allegations against some Rab officials came to light through the media, the armed forces pulled back the trio from the elite force, Mukhlesur Rahman, director general of Rapid Action Battalion, told The Daily Star yesterday.

Different government agencies have been investigating the abductions and killings, he said.
"If any Rab official is found guilty, he will be punished in line with the laws of the country," he said, referring to the sacking and arrest of Lt Col Zulfiqar Ali Majumder, ex-commanding officer of Rab-7, over his involvement in the Tk 2.07 crore robbery at Talsara Darbar Sharif in Chittagong in May 2012.
Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on the home ministry, the Rab chief yesterday said if any Rab officer is found involved in the brutal killings, the elite force will not try to protect him.

Coming out of the meeting, committee Chief Tipu Munshi said they were gravely concerned over the incident in Narayanganj, and the government would do everything to bring the culprits to book.

On May 4, Nazrul's father-in-law Shahidul Islam alleged that some Rab men had abducted and murdered the Narayanganj city councillor in exchange for Tk 6 crore. He claimed that some workers saw Rab men abduct Nazrul near Shibu Market in Narayanganj on April 27.
Nazrul and his four aides, senior lawyer Chandan Sarker and his driver were abducted almost at the same time after they left the court area by two cars in Narayanganj.

Six bodies, including that of Nazrul and Chandan, were found floating in the Shitalakkhya river three days later, and another was found the following day.

Assalaamu alykum .

I feel so sorry what have happened to your family. our prayers are truly with you and family.

As sad it is is. We live in Karachi and confirm the action of the so called police.
)
Her the police are majority shia and from interior sindh ( The people over there do not even know the kalimah, which indicated much shirk, deeni ignorance and ignorance even in the secular sector and those do not care about humanity and Mulsims.

They rob shop owner on a daily basis.

We just heard this morning from a shop owner that the biggest thieves and zalimeen is the so called police in Karachi, rangers who are actually police who just don the rangers uniform. Even ladies in wheel chair apply for a police post and believe they are taken!

They come with the jeep and guns to the shops, demand a certain amount of money, good for which they do not pay or at least a third if they pay.

They come take the money and goods and lever. they regular threaten the owner if they do not follow the demands than they will arrest them on terrorism charges and other accusations. her in Pakistan one gets arrested and tortured without any proof and if lucky is released with bruises.

The police makes every day around 30 000 PKR by oppression and stealing the money and good of shop owner. And in addition they collect bribes from all and sundry.

Here in Pakistan every idiot , male and female alike, can become a police, politician or doctor. You just pay a few rupees for faker papers.

As a sad as it is, this is a regular issue her in Pakistan/Karachi.

Whenever a girl/ women gets gang reaped or somebody kidnapped and they dare to file an FIR against that culprits, than 99 percent of the time the police has been involved in those crimes and if not they sense to make money out of the tragedy of the victims and ask for money or beat the hell out of the family for filing and FIR and threaten to kidnap the male of the house and often rape the females .

A friend of my husband has been beaten up sever;ly by Karachi police.

It was his first year at darul oloom in Karachi and it was the 10th of Muharram.
The friends and class mates from here warned him not to leave the madrassa compound and to stay indoors due to the shias on the street looking for prey.

He did not pay much heed and had to leave .

He a had been beaten up to an unrecognizable state.

He filed an FIR against unknown at the local police station.

The police took himk in and beat the hell out of the deeni student. They were shia too

He was lucky to survive. But since this incident his mind and body are not the same any more and he suffered mental problems after and could not finish madrasssa,.

He came to "glorious Muslim Pakistan" to learn Islam and this is how he ended up[.

And mostly the victims are poor.

Reading this makes me to fall in sajda doing taubah that i dared to complain about may probnlems.

We are not wealthy either too and have no family her with us . I only have my husband and kids. I can d dare to think like that this could happen to my husband .

Not that long ago a chief police inspector of Karachi had been blown up in his bullet proof car.
He worked closely together with backwater which is present everywhere in Pakistan and carry out those nicely place road bombs, Target killing, etc , out while working together with the Police. The government knows all about these problems.

One brother related that he was so fortunate to survive his torture and captivation of several month, related that this guy was the head and reason for his kidnapping and torture. in hidden cells and police headquarters Americans are present to torture Muslims.

He has been responsible for kidnapping and torturing thousands of innocent sunni muslims in the name war on terror and had been highly praised by the government.
They awarded that devils family 20 million rupees as compensation.

Our dua to the respective family and may Allah Ta'ala assist with His divine help .

The cry of the masloon reaches d the Arsh of Allah Ta'ala without delay and Allah Ta'ala promises to assist the oppresses, even if it is after some time.

Insha Allah you family will enter jannat in a purified state to meet their Beloved.

Allah Ta'ala will not punish His slave twice for his/her sins in this life.

Even though on surface its looks terrible what had happen but Allah Ta'ala in his Wisdom decreed it to happen and time will tell what spiritual benefits will grow out of this all.

Theer is No justice in this world . the justice will come at ist appointed hour when the creation and limbs will bear witness against our misdeeds.

Wa salaam

The incident in the opening post also took place in Karachi.

When the family were alerted about the police raid, they went to all 3 police stations in their area and they couldn't find him. It wasn't until a few hours later that the police actually phoned the father and told them to come to a police station in Sadar, miles away from their home.

السلام عليكم

Terribly to hear about your bro in law akhii, Karachi is a terrible place and a place full of crime.

However with the right links and contacts and a bit of money perhaps you can strip those police officers of their uniforms for life. However sadly such a thing does not exist for the poor in the Hindu Republic of Pakistan.

Have you decided to do anything or will you be letting it pass ?

These thing can back fire very badly. If we took action, tomorrow they'd take revenge with an even worse case than mentioned.

I've been sent links via PM and will share inshaAllah for those who want to take action, but be warned. These punks always have bigger punks who we they work for and whom we complain to, so it's a catch 22 situation.

We'll let Allah handle them :) The most Just, The best of Judges!
