Hello to everyone.

I have read that an Islamic Cleric has married a 12 year old child. That is child abuse and forced marriage. How does Islam help vulnerable children from such cruelty?

And how should in your opinion the Law deal with this man?

I tried to post the link but was not allowed, its on the BBC Website News Scetion.

There are many Islamic Forums but I have decided to join this because my understanding is that there are real Islamic Scholars who also contribute to the forum, so hoping for a quick reply. Please take part in the poll. The poll is not about which is better, but rather about is more effective if Islamic Law was to replace the current British Secular Law in regards to protect childrens rights.
