in 1947 this was the dream of every Pakistani. But it remains a dream even now.

We shall bring the constitution of Islam to this land;
With Islam’s constitution, all sorrows shall vanish.

Our Quran is our constitution...

This nation was founded upon Islam;
Islam is the very foundation and guarantee of its survival.
If it does not stand firm on this foundation, it faces ruin;
Yet, the world is loath to accept this truth.

Now, the constitution of Islam shall come to this land...
Our Quran is our constitution...

We shall spread the teachings of Islam,
And undertake initiatives that ensure the welfare of all.
Together, we shall strive for progress;
Be they officer, merchant, master, or laborer,
All shall usher in the Islamic order in this land.

Our Quran is our constitution...

We shall ensure wealth circulates rather than accumulates,
Preventing it from being hoarded solely by the rich.
We shall not stray from the path of justice;
Laborers currently in hardship shall find prosperity
When the Islamic order arrives in this land.

Our Quran is our constitution...

We shall not restrict free trade,
Yet the market of usury, we shall close.
We shall restore honor and dignity to the skilled;
He who labors shall reap a bountiful reward
When the code of Islam comes to this land—

Our Quran is our constitution...

No worshipper of wealth shall remain here,
No human shall prey upon another,
The oppression prevailing now shall cease;
No tyrant shall remain, nor hearts left wounded and broken
When the code of Islam comes to this land—

Our Quran is our constitution...

We shall spread goodness and halt all evil;
No human-made rule shall be allowed to prevail.
All Muslims are brothers, united and true;
Bound by Allah’s command, we have a task to pursue.

We shall bring the code of Islam to this land;
Our Quran is our constitution..., my guiding hand.

The night of oppression ends; a new dawn shall rise,
Radiance shall spread, and darkness take flight.
Light shall dwell everywhere, banishing the gloom;
The crimson stain on the horizon shall vanish away,

When the code of Islam arrives in this land;
Our Quran is our constitution..., my guiding hand...

Islam does not teach man duplicity;
In this faith, all are equal—be they pious or rebellious.
Our culture is neither Russian nor Western;
These are flowing wounds, festering sores—

But now, the code of Islam shall come to this land;
Our Quran is our constitution...

Be it a home, a mosque, or the arena of politics;
A police station, a court, or the halls of justice;
A college, a marketplace, or the sphere of economy—
We shall raise high the banner of Divine Oneness and Prophethood

This land shall become a radiant Mount Tur—
When the code of Islam comes to this land;

Our Quran is our constitution...

O my intoxicated compatriots, come to your senses;
Do not let deception lead you astray.
Kindle the flame of truth and justice within your hearts;
Delve deep into the meaning of the Quranic verses.
Embrace the noble character of Allah’s Beloved;
Recall and heed the final sermon of my Master.
Eradicate the divisions of caste, tribe, and prejudice;
Make God-consciousness the sole basis of honor.
Live in unity and cease these escalating conflicts;
Unite as one nation and shun the seeds of discord.
Do not brand one another with decrees of disbelief;
O Naz, proclaim this truth to the world:
If there is still spirit left in you, then save Masjid-e-Aqsa;

Shun futile arguments and focus on building character;
For character—true character—is the essence of Islam’s code.

Now, the code of Islam shall prevail in this land;
Our Quran is our constitution...

Dream of Pakistanis is to get visa to the west. If they can't get one themselves then the dream is for their children to get visa to the west.
Make money and build a huge house in Pakistan, and buy an expensive car and all the other trappings of the duniya.

The ones whose dreams you have outlined in your above post are very few.

Please always post in the correct section. Categories are there for a reason and posting too many times in the wrong section increases our work to move it to the correct section. Doing this often could enable temporary restrictions on starting new topics.

If someone’s pursuit of livelihood/passions has taken them to Europe, America, or the Gulf countries, they should remit money through legal channels to help boost foreign exchange reserves; in doing so, they are effectively supporting the country.

You mean the dream of our akabir? No Pakistani has harbored any such dream for decades now. Even the religiously inclined ones.

This applies to many nations that liberated themselves from the shackles of occupation. They all had visions, but those visions never materialised.

Muslims, wherever we may be, suffer from this wahn!

Confining this issue to Pakistanis is preposterous. It is just as prevalent in the West, even if it wears a different coating.

Should the religious scholars lose heart? Or is there still some hope left?
