A leaked police intelligence report claims that British Hindu extremists are forming alliances with far-right groups, united by a “common hatred” of Muslims.

The document, compiled by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) and obtained by the Daily Mail, says Hindutva extremists are collaborating with figures like far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has reportedly attended meetings with Hindu groups to promote anti-Muslim campaigns, with his involvement allegedly welcomed by a minority of British Hindus and some Indian media outlets.

The NPCC warns that such alliances could worsen relationships between Hindus, Muslims, and other faith groups, including Sikhs, in the UK.

The report also suggests that these groups may be attempting to influence British elections, urging Hindu voters to support specific political parties — namely the Conservatives — while discouraging votes for others.

It cites the 2019 election as an example, where WhatsApp messages reportedly circulated among Hindu communities encouraging a pro-Conservative vote.

In addition, the report references historical far-right figures like Anders Breivik, the Norwegian terrorist, claiming he drew inspiration from Hindutva ideology, and asserts that Bollywood films promote Hindutva narratives, potentially fuelling community tensions.

British Hindu organisations have condemned the findings, calling them “baseless” and “misleading.”

A spokesperson for INSIGHT UK, a Hindu diaspora group, argued that the report lacks evidence and unfairly tarnishes the broader Hindu community, heightening feelings of insecurity among its members.

The group has announced plans to file a complaint with the press regulator IPSO and submit a Freedom of Information request to scrutinise the NPCC’s claims.

In September 2002 Muslim and Hindu youths confronted each other on the streets of Leicester leading to scores of arrests and several jail sentences.

Muslims told 5Pillars that the unrest was instigated by Hindutva thugs, but Hindus have said this is a false narrative which has made them fearful and targeted.

No doubt in my mind the whole thing is being orchestrated and coordinated by British Intelligence services in Alliance with the Israeli and Indian embassies.
