That’s terrible. Im presuming it’s labelled in Hindi. Is it even legal to sell such things. There must be a health and safety issue regarding it.

Actually I agree with you the trains are very dirty. Was hoping that the virus would give them the initiative to clean up and sanitise the underground trains. Nevertheless we don’t have a choice but to use the trains to get from a to b quickest mode of transport.

People have been panic buying. There’s shortages of many items and lots of empty shelves. Our local butchers has no meat. They did say transport will be halted soon so they may need to close down in the meantime. Difficult time for smaller businesses. Allah do what’s best for everyone. Aameen

That’s very rude to say that. It is killing so many people. You wouldn’t wish it on anyone. May Allah protect us. Aameen

The adhaan today in Kuwait was changed due to the coronavirus. ‎Instead of "hayya alas-salah" (come to prayer), the muadhin says "al-salatu fi buyutikum" (pray in your homes). This was done in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) during heavy rain and wind.

Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him, and if he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him.(Sahih Muslim 2999)

Most of mans problems exist only in his head, and never come to fruition. So we learn, take our precautions and leave the rest to Alllah سبحانه وتعالى. That's not to say we don't worry, but at this stage worrying only serves to add to the pandemic and mass hysteria. Anxiety only serves to weaken the immune system.

Can anyone confirm this message that's doing the rounds?

Quote:
Just been for my weekly shopping to my local stores like Mullaco’s Dewsbury, Sufi Meat Mount Pleasant Batley and Master Bros Dewsbury and very sad to say these Muslim retailers are taking the mic and have increased their prices of every day goods by 50% or more, even on the basics like flower and onions etc etc.

They have raised prices by nearly 50% or more on many items taking advantage of the entire situation. There are families out their young and old who can’t afford to pay these astortionet increases or even do bulk buying due to limited income.

I also went to Asda, Tesco and other supermarkets and all their prices remind them same so why are our Muslim retailers behaving like this.

Islam does not allow this and they are going against the teaching and ruling of Islam. These retailers should be reported to the authorities and people should boycott them and stop this panic buying. Until this is not actioned these retailers won’t learn from their despicable actions.

One concerned Muslim, Umar.

I'm guessing you take the London underground too.

I think i need to work on my sense of humour, but if I offended brother abu mohammed, or caused him distress, then I apologise.

Nothing to do with the London Underground. Just bad timing of a bad joke. Yes Alhamdulillah all good and bad is from Allah and we should accept whatever befalls us. Although we shouldn’t wish for bad  for ourselves or anyone

Jokes about coronavirus are hard to accept at the moment. I watched a video about how the Chinese disposed of the bodies of deceased and i could only manage watching it for few seconds and deleted it

Sorry for not seeing any humour in your joke also wasn’t my intention to offend you in any way
