This is regarding piety. But I have high respect towards any muslim who recites kalimah. Wallah.

Also, I have more respect towards a person who is not pious but his services help muslim community than a person who is pious but limits himself to his personal ibaadaath.

No Deobandi allows free-mixing. They are the strictest in this matter. Alhamdulillah, Deobandis have not gone that far down yet. Maybe in future but for now they are still the most pure.

I concur with Professor Maripat Saheb's feelings about being Deobandi. This is why i feel the Deobandi identity to be more important than ever. We need to go back to the teachings of our elders to stop the rot before what you're saying becomes an actual reality.

The claimants of being Deobandi have started a plethora of Bid'ats in this day and age.
Some examples:

-Laylatun Noor
-Incorrect Moonsighting
-Taziyat Jalsahs (The same as condolence gatherings that the christians do)
