If urdu speaker is better than the english speaker, then we can have english translation or vice versa, like in Ijtemas.

In India they have churches for each language, english, tamil, telugu, malyalam, kannada, hindi etc. Are we going this way.

I quote from Ali Mian Nadvi RA

I disagree. Not on a night when many people who don't normally come to the masjid or stay in programs make an effort to come, and not when everyone should understand the language of the country as this will only be of benefit to them.

Any other night you can have Urdu bayans.

If it was a very well known guest, translations are OK if it is done with both translator and speaker up front, and they take turns speaking and translating. Not if the speaker is upfront speaking and the translation is being done simultaneously at the back.

Moulana Arshad Madni gave a solution. Proper Islamic schools. After he said that he said but majority of the Islamic schools are in the wrong peoples hands.

But remember Qiyamat has to come so all this has to happen. May Allah Ta'ala protect all of our Imaan and keep us safe.

The thread is about older people so I understand that for the next generation Islamic Schools is a good solution (agreed) but doesn't apply to people who have already grown up.

Ali Mian RA on issue being discussed on this thread:

Today's jihad, obligation on us now is to attack the core of this issue; Ummah distancing itself from deen. Present day revival is to revive the faith of the educated elite and youth on Aqaid of Islam, Risalath. Ummah has lost this. Today's best ibadath is to cool the boiling minds of educated youth and to satisfactorily present Islam based on their intellect.

Todays islamic world needs men on field who can dedicate totally and get involved in this dawath. Offer their abilities, knowledge, wealth for this purpose. Never aim at grabbing positions, elevation, power etc. Don't have malice or feud against any one. Be selfless, let others to get benefited and nothing for themselves. Always offer others and never take anything in return.

It depends, we want quantity or the quality. A speaker is at his best when he speaks in his mother tongue. And listener is moved when he listens in language he speaks at home.

Now organizer's intention, touch the heart of a person with touching words or load him with double the academic words.

There is Difference between Islamic schools and muslims schools.

In India, For girls, They allow a piece of cloth to cover the head (optional), but these girls are in skirts or midis. And different rows for boys and girls. Is this islamic.

I made a mistake once again. I came into this thread for the sake of Allah Ta'ala in trying to assist in solving the problem. Since the identity of the posters has become clear, it is obvious that the issue is to have a dig at me.

I remove myself from the discussion, sincerely apologize and ask the Brothers (to drop the hate if they can). If they cannot, its upto them.

Nevertheless, I bow out from this threaad with a sincere apology.

I am backing out of many discussions where I know the answers, simply because I don't wish to become the means of people's Nafs flaring up.

Hate doesn't bother me, they have to answer to Allah on the day of judgement.

Motivated by this discussion, I made intention of contributing something towards solution.

Participated in tablighi gashth in slum. 120 sq ft homes, 5 ft wide streets, poor both in duniya and Deen.
No one meets them.
I was just mute assistant in the whole effort.
Returning satisfied.
