It's very rare to hear in the media of a Saudi Royal being punished. In the last two weeks or so, there have been two stories of a Royal memeber being put to death or being lashed.
Many social media networks, with some Saudis saying they never imagined such a thing would happen in a justice system, which criticized by human rights groups for what they consider harsh and arbitrary punishments against oponent.
Saudi Arabia is one of the world's few remaining absolute monarchies. The thousands of members of the royal family enjoy perks not available to the rest of the country's 20 million citizens.
come on now, we should given credit where due. im hardly a fan of ale salool but we should praise them for at least doing this., had they not we would have and rightly so have been critical and said they dont apply hadood among themselves. also i dont see what all the first generation of that family being dead has to do with carrying out this punishment. i dont think the divisions among them is a bad as people say.
