King of Jordan warns of 'world war' against humanity

AFP
17 November 2015 16:22 GMT

Jordan's King Abdullah II warned Tuesday of a "third world war against humanity", describing the Islamic State group as "savage outlaws of religion" in the wake of the Paris attacks.

During an official visit to Kosovo, Abdullah said both Europe and Islam were under attack from the "scourge" of terrorism that could strike anywhere and at any time.

"We are facing a third world war against humanity and this is what brings us all together," he told a press conference.

"This is a war, as I've said repeatedly, within Islam," he said, stressing the high number of Muslim victims of the Islamic State (IS) group.

Abdullah said groups such as IS "expose themselves daily as savage outlaws of religion, devoid of humanity, respecting no laws and no boundaries".

"So therefore we must act fast and holistically to tackle and respond to the interconnected threats whether it is in this region, Africa, Asia or in Europe," he said.

In France's worst-ever terror attacks, IS gunmen and suicide bombers murdered 129 people in coordinated onslaughts in Paris on Friday night.

Muslim-majority Jordan is, like France, a member of the US-led coalition battling the group, which controls swathes of land in its neighbours Iraq and Syria.

On Sunday, Abdullah said fighting extremism was "our fight as Muslims against those who aim to turn our societies and future generations towards fanaticism and extremism".

Jordan says it has taken in 1.4 million Syrians fleeing the war there since it broke out in 2011, but the UNHCR puts the figure at 600,000.

At least 250,000 people have died in more than four years of conflict in Syria.

Which countries raised and supported IS ;and are still supplying weapons?

What is their reality?

What's their hidden mission?

Such questions come in mind..

my advice to you is to be busy in your life so that you dont have time for such questions
i or we dont need to know

do your studies, your prayers, look after parents and community in general

people bring problems upon themselves when they think they can discuss and know of world events whilst they are truly out of their depth

you can scan the world news on the net and everyone will say something different,it will still have no bearing on your daily life.
be more mindful of your daily faraiz and of preparation for the aakhirah

people out of their depth usually drown

know your remit,
part of shaytaans plan is to distract us from our ultimate aim which is marifah taqwa service

too many people "know and discuss" things which are really of no benefit in both worlds

Whole world is at war against Islam. It started on a small scale, decades back. But the opponents are getting strength day by day.

Ummah needs guidance under a leader like Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Mian Nadvi RA.

His golden rules:
1. "Sweat more during peace you will bleed less during war". There is scope to serve Islam during peace. Our behavior in our work place, business etc.
2. Avoid; Over reactions, over zeal, knee jerk reactions, spontaneous response, playing into the hands of enemy, falling in trap ...... the list is big. Have knowledge of tactics used by opponents.
3. Ummah shall return to simplicity (Zuhd) of Sahabah and be proud of it.

Are we not making Islam to lose war every day?

I quote from famous khaleefah of peer sahib:

Quote:
"I met people from a gujrati tribe. They said that during gujarat riots they were used by hindu leaders to take revenge against muslims.

Who was responsible for this?

They said that they lived adjacent to a madrasah. During functions inside madrasah, they were smelling the food prepared there. But, even left over food was never shared with them.
Rubbing salt on the wound, the next day the ROTTEN left over food was thrown across the wall where they lived, Many such incidents sowed seeds of hatred towards Muslims.

Unquote:
This is happening every where, in my business, my work place, during travel, during our festivals, with our neighbors. Why is that a stone sits our chest (we, the pious ones), not a living heart .

Also

This is happening in every family. "Feast for peer sahib/khaleefah/zimmedar/ameer/moulana"; to get their duas. But my needy neighbors, relatives, own brothers and sister continue to suffer. Spending a small proportion on them may get duas from their depths of their hearts. We have seen parents virtually begging from son for a living. And it hurts that the same son offers feast to others.

Our tashkeel to visit khanqah or for 3 days fails here. And we declare, "eh naheen sudhrenge"

You can give sadaqaha to non muslim,
Bring the akhlaq of Rasool saw with the non muslims, your house, your colleagues

Its not one day effort to become like Sahabas( who asked the customer to buy products from a yahudi shop); this doesnt happen in one night. Once Eeman is established, amals are easy. Thats why to learn Eeman, everyone must spend time in the path of Allah for 4 months.

I know full well what you are trying to say, but these words are saying that it takes 4 months to bring Eeman into our lives. Please be careful how you word it.

And for the record, I haven't been 40 days, let alone 4 months, it doesn't mean I don't have Imaan. Khair, that's a whole different topic.

Lets stay on topic

South Indian muslims lose the war; when a lady, the bread earner for her poor family, working as a maid servant in Saudia, returns with amputated hand. Persecution by her master.
