As-Salaam alaikum,
In a narration attributed to Sayyadina Ali Ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, he said : "I heard the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, say: There will come a people at the end of time young in age and foolish in Judgement.
They will say the best things people can say, (but) they will pierce Islam like the arrow pierce its kill. Their faith will not go beyond their throats. "(Bukhari, 1290 No. 5057)
This hadith parallels another saying of the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, regarding a group of memorizers of the Qur'an who 'read the Qur'an but it does not go beyond their throats' - - that is, it does not go beyond the tongue to the heart in their chest. Thus nothing reaches their heart.
We must avoid this..
