Surah Nisa Ayah 95 and Tabligh

Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah everyone,

How is one to understand this Ayah in light of Hadith and Tabligh and its necessity? It is quoted often. Are there any scholars who can clarify?

Misleading, regardless of the rest of the post. Sometimes the first few lines are read an misunderstood.

One way or the other, we (Deobandi's) all belong to the Tablighi Jamaat, wether we partake in it or not :(

This is my understanding and I may be wrong. Tableegh jamaat is one of the ways to program ourselves to become pious Muslims. Those who are compatible with this methodolgy join the jamat. I do not know if it is right to say all Deobandis belong to Tableeghi Jamaat. Without being in Tableegh jmaat, I think a person can still be a Deobandi. Ofcourse a Deobandi may not stand against TJ but it is not necessary that every Deobandi should be associated with Tableegh Jamaat. Allahu alam

1. Ayah and Ahadith related to J!had can used for tabligh. Many Ulema agree with this. The latest is by Shaykh Abu Bakr AlJazeri, he has discussed in detail in his book translated to urdu as "Tableeg ka jaiza".

2. When we get the news of ummah's irtidaad, the receiver of news, what is hukm on him to leave his home and offer his sacrifices, is it Fardh Ayen, Fardh, Fardh Kifayah, mubah mustahib or is it haraam to leave his home. Some people grade this as bid'ah. Bida'ah because Rasulullah SAS didn't send any group to bring back muslims from irtidad.

3. What is hukm on a person whose near relative who lives far from his place, god forbid, it could be his son, brother, any near one's irtidad.

4. Are the real J!had feel threatened that tablighi have hijacked their ayah and ahadith and it has dented them. That shows their weakness and they are not fit for their mission. Fearing weakest among all jamaths the tablighis.
