Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

I made a few frames for my friends after Umm Zahra kindly gifted me with one. I think it's always important to relate the message to the deen and especially so cuz this relates to marriage...

This isn't really a poem, but some words of advice from a blog that I came across

The Eyes of Love never turn away from its Source

There are times when we just sit in isolation and ponder over why our hearts erupt into such feelings.

Feelings that plunge us into attachment for someone close to us.

We wonder why our hearts flutter graciously whenever we are around that special person in our lives and even when we are not in their company,

our heart aches in yearning and remembrance of that person.

Perhaps the key lies to the source of love.

It is impossible to describe love in its whole,

just as it is impossible to describe its Creator in whole.

Even substituting expressions of our dimension doesn't wholly amount to what it really feels inside when the heart feels love.

Love is exquisite.

It is a name of His that He has reserved in a special place for His creation.

In a place where the entire body is sustained from its core,

with all vessels connected to it.

It functions as a life support pumping existence to every outlet.

Surely, one who truly treasures and acknowledges the splendours he has been endowed with looks to the origins of its intricate beauty and glorifies its Maker.
What love beholds really,

only He knows,

for it came from Him and surely to Him it must return.

Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah

As the tears slowly fall like water flowing in a stream,

And the smiles slowly form, like the rising of the sun for a bright new day,

This is unison of two souls, of two blessed and joyous souls

Two oceans have now merged,

No longer apart, they flow together,

As they encounter the course of the sea,

Whether it be rough whether their flow is obstructed by stones, by rock or pebbles,

They bear it all with patience,

For this is a new life, a new journey,

Their pathway is one, their goal is one and their destination is one,

They silently pray and hope that their pathways are smooth, filled with the light of the sun,

Illuminated with hope and happiness,

Scented with love, care and affection,

Filled with patience and understanding,

So we pray for them,

As we do for ourselves,

We pray for their happiness and success in all that they do,

We pray for their happiness and patience through and through,

We pray that the sun continues to forever shine in their way,

And that the rays of Allah's mercy and compassion continues to enshroud them as they pray

did this in 5 minutes-plz 4gv me if its not up to scratch-jazakillah

Asalamu'alaykum wa Rahmatullah

Seen on an e-card on eidmubarak.com, they attributed it to Ar'rumi, Rahmatullahi'alay, i believe it is an excerpt from a longer poem by him

"In companionship and happiness may you be like milk and honey
in union and fidelity, just like sugar and halva."

If anyone is still looking, simply Google Rumi+marriage, or Khalil Gibran+marriage and so on and so forth.

duas are requested.
