On the 20th of February 2015, thousands of Al Ittihad FC fans chanted praises to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They sang the famous 'Tala Al Badru 'Alayna' nasheed which is thought to have been read by the Prophet's companions on his arrival to Madinah from from Makkah.

The fans also held yellow and black signs to form a message saying 'Oh Messenger of Allah, my beloved'

What a shame.

if only soccer fans would show the same love for Qur'an and Sunnah off the pitch, imagine that man, now that's worth something celebrating.

the amount of love and passion these fans show in a worldly game, if only the same passion was put into preaching what they practice, it would be a better world.

giving them the benefit of doubt, I'm sure they do have the same passion for Islam.
