وَ عَلَيكُم َٱلسَّلَام وَ رَحمَةُٱللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُه
As is evident, the Pakistan Tehreek Taliban is no Islamic group, rather only mischief makers on the land.

Nor have I ever heard dua being made for them at Masajid. Yes, Afghani Taliban are prayed for.

Pakistan's Ulema need to come out and clearly condemn TTP for their actions, such actions can only be done by enemies of the country and Islam.

One radio presenter on a UK radio station said, "Let's discuss this and try and make sense of it"

How in the world can anyone make any sense of senseless actions?

No matter how hard Shaitan tries to defame Islam by using Muslims, Alhumdulillah there are many more Muslims and non Muslims alike who will stand up and make it clear that these are not the teachings of Islam.

Hadhrat Mawlana Khalilur-Rahman Sajjad Nu'mani [hafizahullah]'s view on todays tragedy and appeal at Pakistan's Ulema.

Someone should translate it for the benefit of non-Urdu speakers.

I have never understood why so many prominent Deobandi Ulama have remained silent, even before the massacre.

Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaj`iun

What will these people say to Allah on the day of judgement? How will it be when the parents of these children ask for compensation?

They have not just killed a 100+ children, they've killed all of mankind.

Its very disappointing that anything can happen anywhere in Pakistan.

Nobody can perceive the severity of pain the parents of those kids are passing through. May Allah grant them true sabr. Ameen.

It has become more evident and clear, that TTP is a clear cut "Khawaarij" group. And it is mainly because of its salafi and mamaati aqaaid. Whatever happened today is absolutely sick and disgusting.

Alhamdolillah, the Deobandi Ulema have also realized the fact, and whatever little sympathy was there, has also gone now.

Why the Akabireen do not openly condemn? There are some reasons that can not be shared in the public.

Beslan to Peshawar

About a decade ago we heard of Beslan massacre where more than three hundred people died - half of them were children.

Now Peshawar. This time 132 innocent children lost their lives.

The purported justification is that Pakistan Army has been killing our women and children in North Waziristan.
But is the Army aiming for women and children?
No.
Perpetrators of Peshawar massacre were indeed aiming for children.
They do not have justification for their barbaric action.

It was also reported that the perpetrators were speaking Arabic.
They do not look like Arabs so they are likely to be from central Asia.
As we had sporadic reports from Afghanistan that people from Uzbekistan infilterated there and brought unprecedented brutality into equation.

And then there is the ruse that they have their own Ulama to give them the ideology.
Somehow they have lost connection with reality.
Actions like killing of children can not be justified at all.
Attempt at Malala Yusufzai itself was difficult to rationalize and she and her father have cashed upon that heavily.
That should have been a lesson for these people.
But what do they do? they up the ante.
It shall make it more difficult to defend Islam and Muslims.

Excellent article from Jamiatul Ulama, South Africa: Real Taliban vs Fake Taliban

Quote:
"Lieutenant-General Hamid Gul, a retired high-ranking general officer in the Pakistan Army, and a former head of the highly influential Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) told Cii Radio Wednesday that a clear distinction needed to be drawn between the Afghan Taliban and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who have claimed responsibility for the attack."

"On Tuesday, the Afghan Taliban unequivocally condemned the Pakistan school attack.

“The intentional killing of innocent people, women and children goes against the principles of Islam and every Islamic government and movement must adhere to this fundamental essence,” Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement.

“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has always condemned the killing of children and innocent people at every juncture,” the Afghan Taliban’s statement continued.

“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expresses its condolences over the incident and mourns with the families of killed children.”

Commenting on its alleged links with the TTP (Pakistani Taliban), in 2009, an Afghan Taliban spokesman told The New York Times:

“We don’t like to be involved with them (TTP), as we have rejected all affiliation with Pakistani Taliban fighters…We have sympathy for them as Muslims, but beside that, there is nothing else between us."
