we could move on if majority of Muslim population did know these things about the Shia.
the shia put so much effort into convincing the sunnis that not all shia are like that and so many get duped by this and go on to actually believe that this isnt part of their basic aqeedah. we need to give dawah to the Muslims about the Shia so that their matter becomes crystal clear as is with the Qadianis.

I said exactly the same thing 2 minutes ago on Whatsapp. In my (humble and unqualified) opinion the issue of attacking Barelwees & Shias is counterproductive in the long run. (Strategically) Junaid Jamshed & Maulana Tariq Jameel (HA) have done the right thing and have actually thought about it.

They have grasped the moral high ground by condemning the mistake, admitting and apologising.
The (non-existent) Deobandi PR machine should now kick in high gear to clearly demonstrate that this WAS NOT Blasphemy and yet he came clean and apologised due to violation of Adab.

You can see on social media that the Secular/Atheist/Modernists in Pakistan have already been defused and wind has been taken out of their sail. So the next option is for them to show the matter in a sectarian light and the Deobandees are helping their cause by pouring fuel on the fire.

Alhumdolillah, we are looking at the issue the same way...

The goal of any campaign should be to WIN! I mean its obvious…

there is no such thing as a moral high ground...the right thing needs to be done even if it goes against the subjective morality standards of the society...hikmah should be used, but hikmah of which people?

even among ulema e haq differences arise so we look to those on the frontlines as per meaning of a hadith. and they know better that the shia sunni difference isnt a political or academic one: it is full-scale war on our lives, property and religion. so it is better that we quit being bullied by secular liberals who label us sectarian and try and shut our mouth when we speak against the shia. we must not let them feel ashamed and we must expose the shia for what they are loud and clear
