Assalam Alaikum. The Sister has a right to Object of her name being higllighted in public. The thread requires moderation to check unnecessary opposite gender interaction. Its against gheerah to higlight a sister publicly in such manner. Jazakallah khair.
Now I know your intention, but really I felt uncomfortable to see every time this thread popping-up with my user name. I don't want this kind of attention.
I have clearly said the reason why I included the members name in the title inspite of that I get such holier than thou replies ...from the mods?
And people who cry hoarse regarding gender interaction should not be online hosting forums and stuff...I cannot go around seeking replies and responses only from brothers when this is not a brothers only forum.
You have seriously erred in your judgement and I do not forgive easily.
There were other great ideas for this thread unlike anything that has been attempted ever on sf or ms.
This has derailed a good thread which would've been beneficial
Just feel that the person who wrote post 33 ( im not going to mention the name or gender just in case ...) could of just messaged a mod and told them to message bro saheb to take their name out and job done but nows its been blown out of proportion and being discussed elsewhere.
that member (gender unknown one) didn't know that it was a reward for finishing the book first.. and now I guess everything should be fine now.. since there is no name on the title anymore.. Its not even a that big deal... just tawadhu... :)
Its not about the name itself but the gender interaction thing...is it my problem that more sisters have responded ? To carry forward the thread should I or should I not reply? You open a co Ed institute and you admit students of both genders and you then say no interaction?
And this thread interactions are all in public ..am I private messaging members that the mod has said this thread required moderation and stuff..I was the one who discouraged hangouts in the first place.
The post is not saying that there was interacting (that can cause concern) but suggest that it needs moderating in case there is.

This is generally for all threads.
Sisters are more able to respond possibly due to lesser commitments than the brothers. Allahu alum.
The idea is fine and is working well. Those involved will read all posts and follow what is happening inshaAllah, so I agree with the sister and her choice as well as the moderator post
It would be nice for the thread to continue as normal. Jazakallah
Moderators are usually blunt :p We need to handle them with care. Reminds me of my fights with moderator Hamood sahib (db) on SF
Back to topic. You can't withdraw your good cause because of someone else. Allah is the one who will reward you in abundance for every good initiative. Though I dont have time to read any books, i am still following your thread to learn.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
