Have been wanting to share this for a very long time, there's an Islamic school (English curriculum) + madrasah being set up in Thana Bhavan, yes, land of Hakeem al Ummah Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (rahimahullah) - a big project, so if anyone is interested, you could give some little something back to the place which harboured one of the greats of Islam, the project is Deobandi Ulamah backed and the reason for the project is that it was seen that the Muslim kids had few (or no) options (probably no options for English curricula based schools) and so were joining others. So Ulamah have decided on this. We got to know this only in Dec '13 or Jan '14 but I'm sure there's still much to do.
If you wish to contribute, (if you are living in India) then go through any senior Deoband Ulamah or madaaris, if you are outside, then pay through via your cousins.
