I am not sure how best to answer but I guess it is done via organised structures (see some of the websites for more info) and it helps when 1. The ruling party (ANC) closely associated the local struggle with the Palestinian struggle 2. The largest trade union movement (which is in an alliance with the ruling party anyway) taking an active stance for the cause 3. Having Muslims in various high positions of government, organisations, etc highlighting the cause.
