السلام عليكم,

Can anyone suggest good Islamic forums in the Arabic language? Especially those either run by trustworthy people or frequented by them. General forums with good populations (i.e. not dominated by non-practicing or Salafi-types, for example) would also be good.

If you check the book resources site from attahawi.com, you'll find quite a few Arabic websites, which may have Arabic forums.

I would've given you the Da'wah & Tabligh Arabic website but it seems like they got hacked...

Assalaamu Alaykum,

www.aslein.net (run by the students (who are scholars in their own right) of Sh. Sa'id Fuda, he himself also used to post in the past)
www.azahera.net (nice useful discussions on controversial topics)
cb.rayaheen.net/ (more a sufi type of forum, there are some nice posters out there such as al-azhari, who also posts on azahera.net)
www.feqhweb.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=6&s=60fe2b6750c7809... (a fiqh forum, has some salafi influence in it)
www.monazh.com/portal/index.php (not a real traditional forum, but it is anti-salafi, focus on the ghumari's, saqqaf, mamduh etc.)

Salafi forums, but they have useful topics though on books, manuscripts and other subjects. Our own Mufti Husain Kadodia used to post on the multaqa hadith forums:
