Need Quran app for Android

السلام عليكم

I used the Quran Explorer app in iphone. Which was really good.

Which was really cool and easy to navigate. Also one could zoom in and zoom out to set the font size with fingers. I bought the full version, which had audio for many Recitors.


Now I need a similar app for Android. I tried some of the apps from play store, but none of them are as good as this one. Most of them do not zoom properly. Some show as a whole page, others show each verse as separate, not continuous.

Since many of you already use android, suggest a good Quran app like the one above.

This app doesn't have the verses in a continous form. Each verse in on a separate line. So thats not what I m looking for. Any other suggestion?

Quran Majeed app by PakData for iphone is also has the same features I mentioned in the OP. But its not available in android. Since android had a lot more apps than iphone, I thought I'd find a proper app.

More suggestions please.

Brother all the tried and tested apps are in the Islamic android apps thread. Many of them are the se as the iPhone and some are unique to each other.

It a a matter of taste and what you really want it for.

For me, the best Quran app isn't available on Android yet, it's on iPhone called ezquran, perfect for me, the most accurate bookmark, and that's why that suits me because it does what I want. For translation etc, there are many more, but it all depends on your liking.
