I wonder for how long deobandis will let the likes of abdul hakim murad and others get away with such things. Does it make it all ok because he is anti-salafi. The likes of Hamza yusuf, abdul hakim murad, umar Farooq Abdullah and the other north American one's need some serious refutations. There needs to be some harsh refutations against such people.

As far as Deobandees are concerned Chicago is living on the reputation of Tableeghi Jamaat in 1980's and 1990's when it was a powerhouse of Tableeg, due to strength of Tableeghi Jamaat Chicago has Deobandi influence and has Ulamah (now) but gazing into the future Chicago is a confused place...

Houston is the future (not for Deobandees)

Chicago shareef is the stronghold of Deobandis and Tablighis. Qabr pujari are a .000001 minority scattered around the state, they were planning to start Flop buster Dawat e islami(their version of TJ) in Chicago. Jamate islamee is seeing a migration to Ahle hadith, its continuing to be a flop star as it is experienced in India.
Ahle hadith/Salafis are strong where ever Ahle Haqq effort is weak. You have 4 most prominent tariqa shaykhs and their good followers too. There might be awliyas too...

This is one of the best city for Ahle Haqq, where you can bayah with an authentic/good Shaykh & spend evenings in the darul uloom madarasa of another Shaykh to learn Dars e Nizami & spend your Chilla with another good scholar. But you need to have a strong intention and yaqeen,...
