here are some things you can try...

frugalliving.about.com/od/doityourself/tp/Get_Rid_of_Ants...

i have used this in the past and it worked almost straightaway...

just search for ant powder. apparently when the ants walk through the powder they transfer it to their nests and kills the colony.

It's just the ants now are sneakier. I have twice destroyed their nest but their surviving colonies always managed to nest somewhere! lol

You guys are getting carried away!

You kill it if its pestering you. Otherwise let it be. To keep ants away, keep your food tidied away, don't leave crumbs all over the place. See the results.

Setting a trap for them and waiting for them to pile up and then killing them isn't justified. That's "Murder" if you ask me. But I'm no Imam!

Take caution, then kill if they pester you one at a time, not a whole colony at a time.
