Learnt lessons from random people, like Allah سبحانه وتعالى put them in my life at a specific time and moment, but learnt nothing from the company i had and sought after. Realization is a beautiful experience. We plan and Allah سبحانه وتعالى plans, الحمد لله
I saw how one excellent member here posts some of the most amazing stuff. (Not Copy and Pasted)
I used to type out Hadith straight out of the book until I saw how another brother does his posts. He basically takes pictures of the pages and works from there. Excellent and saves so much time and hassle. Therefore, what I have done is taken it one step further. I've taken the photos, uploaded them to my PC and now I don't need to use my phone to copy from.
Give it a go, produce some great articles, try not to copy and paste.
(By the way, most of the articles in the Taqleed and The True Salaf sections were also typed out from books)

Slightly off-top that^ (since this thread is about lessons taught by random people) but amazingly I can make it on-topic. I was taught this (which side fuel cap is) by a completely "random" person. So random that I honestly can't even remember who it was. It wasn't even that long ago. Now it's gonna bug me till I remember who it was
I have only seen it fail in UK on Nissan Trucks, in USA/Canada it's hit and miss and wrong many times so I assume that it holds true for Right hand drive cars
