Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahamatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
The central pivot of Islam is Khilafah (caliphate) so how do we "Go from where we are to where we should?"

Good Point:
Tableeghi Jamaat and Tassawuff are superb places to start in my opinion because they have the basic concept and adherents of these two groups already have some idea of obeying the Ameer and Shura
Bad Point:
Both of these groups also have the most to lose in terms of power so they will resist any move towards Khilafah unless it is initiated, controlled and managed by themselves, any outsider (no matter how capable, trustable, worthy) will be automatically shunned
Alarming Point:
Interesting Point:
Afghans (unlike India/Pakistan) don't have a major Deobandi/Barelwee/Salafi/Jamaat-e-Islami rift and seem to continue to form consensus with some ease...

Looking at history Syed Ahmed Shaheed (RA) failed (in Dunya) sense because a "Non-Pukhtun" tried to rule the Pukhtun, nothing has changed since and can't happen even now.
But within Pukhtun their pride in Nationalism is so strong that they will overlook Barelwee, Deobandi, Salafi etc, same can't be said about Gujrati, Behari, Punjabi, Mirpuri, Kashmiri etc so Pukhtuns offer a natual (and logical) area for Khilafah despite their shortcomings because:
The shortcoming are that the Pukhtuns will NEVER accept a Non-Pukhtun to rule over them (like what happened in history) so a Non-Pukhtun if he choses to go there will have to accept to be a 2nd class citizen, never accepted on equal footing etc.
In my opinion what the Tableeghi Jamaat has achieved is nothing short of a miracle in the last 70-80 years but the blatant issue is that "Tableegh has become the Maqsad (goal) rather then Islam" so
What are your thoughts on that?

The sucess (Masha'Allah) of Tableeghi Jamaat (and of Salafees to some extent) also teaches us that the Ummah needs to be galvanised around a single (simple) objective. Ummah has lost the plot so they can't even recognise Khilafah as a goal and it is alien to their ears.
So what should be the marketing slogan for the Ummah as we stand today and now?
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
