  1. I apologized,
  2. I apologized again
  3. I answered your question
  4. I made dua for you
  5. I clarified that there is no air to clear, Alhumdolillah
  6. I have then asked you is there anything else which you would like done?

I have been accused multiple times with no clear direction as to what you would like for me to do?

Quote:
I have listened time and again from ml. Sajjad nomani db bayans, that it is not proper to say deeni ilm or dunyawi ilm. Ml says for the sake of people emans Allaah has sent the messengers AS, but for the sake of dunyawi (arts, commerce, science etc) ilm Allaah did not sent Messengers AS. But then too the dunyawi knowledge is also coming from Allaah.

This was what i posted in this thread in reply to the topic. Now tell me how wrong is it that you have to say so many astaghfaar.

These are just some things that sprung to mind whilst reading this thread:

Did Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam engage in ideological refutation or did he refute by simply promoting the message Allah Ta'ala sent him with?
Is it not the case that one Sahabi could not count past 100 I think it was? Was he not encouraged to study maths?
Is not the balance lopsided today? People are going to school, college and university and studying sciences etc at the expense of their Deeni obligations such as Salah and propagating the Deen?
As mentioned earlier Imam Ghazali learnt philosophy in his free time. Today a student would make his study of philosophy as his prime time.

The primary task of a believer is to REFUTE Baatil in every form and every shape. Ulamah were trained in the sciences of their day to refute the Baatil in a language, shape and form of their time. Prophets (AS) inherently knew the conditions, language, culture and intellectual games of people of their times and then they were given miracles.

Akabir of Deoband knew the Kalam of their times and they used it to refute, read the Fatawa of our Akabir and you will see references to sciences and scientific developments of their time all the time.

Today (our Darul-uloom graduates) apart from exceptions are mostly unaware of the developments of their times because Dars-e-Nizami (curriculum) which they are taught is around 400 years old. The inclusive nature of Dars-e-Nizami (curriculum) at that time shows the concerns of Ulamah (of that time) about inclusive development and education of Ulamah.

During molana Ibrahim bhams recent uk visit he did a great talk in zakariyah masjid Bolton , he also did a similar talk to Darul uloom Blackburn students the next day, he talked about deeni and dunyawi knowledge, cant remember the full version but molana mentioned a incident of molana rasheed gongohi ra, a man came to him requesting Duas for a relative who had passed away, molana rasheed ra was teaching qubz (some philosophy book), molana rasheed ra said to the man that he will send isale sawab of this book on behalf of his relative.

I was fortunate to be with him for a few days and he spoke about and put allot of weight on two aspects of Deen, ijtemai (collective efforts) and the other dunyawi knowledge and its link to deeni knowledge.

I'm very very disappointed bro, of all the people you would be so careless? Then what hope can I have from others here..it seems right that one top south African scholar disregarded forums. These sort of things discourages one to bring anything of value.

If it gets abused and taken out of context like what's happened here and how it tends to happen online, then yes.

Anyways I'm waiting for your answer.
