Regarding the Salafi raaqi, I can't comment but perhaps you've heard about Qur'anic Healing? It's a Salafi-based, but it's a good one regardless. If I have an opportunity to learn ruqya from them I'll do that, although they're Salafis :D
Muttaqi people get afflicted by sihr as a Trail from Allah سبحانه وتعالى.. Their ranks are raised and they draw closer to their Rabb..
The types of Sihr are many.. from the evil Jinn associated.. to those associated with Shayateen... Bhanumati (vudoo dolls) and the like..
Bengal.. Assam..Kerala and Andhra Pradesh in India are known for some powerful ones... Muscat.. Egypt and Syria are also known to have their own stuff..
Manzil is always good.. but if some wicked guy puts a cloth soiled in Najasah over something that is pure.. then its effect could get insulated..
This is exactly how they target the pious ones.. & its not an easy task.. they use Siflee Amal.. to inflict maximum damage..
At times they attack the Hamzaat ( Nasimma) of the individual by these means.. or obtain any personal belongings of theirs and do their stuff..
An interesting account I learnt was of Mufakkir e Islam Hazrat Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali sahab Nadwi رحمة الله عليه.. when he visited Saibaba at Puttaparthi for Dawah, he cast a spell at Hazrat Maulana رحمة الله عليه.. at the same moment it was brought to the Kashf of Hazrat Maulana Muhammed Ahmed sahab Partapgarhi رحمة الله عليه who at once hit his staff to the ground and exclaimed.. who dares to do such a thing.. !!
It seems for the next seven months the Shayateen who worked for saibaba disappeared and Hazrat Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi رحمة الله عليه was left with a visual defect .. what was supposed to be a major sihr was reduced in severity by the help of Allah سبحانه وتعالى..
What I wonder is.. how these Raaqis sprouting all over these days claim to cure almost everything.. from Jinn possession .. to all forms of Sihr..etc.. Which is believe is an empty claim..
Reading Qur'an does have its effect no doubt.. But the reciter should also be of some caliber..
I was in the service of Hazrat Dr. Nadir Ali Khan sahab (db) once.. and the topic was of Amal Durood salat e Bir.. I asked him how its possible.. he said if I wrote a death sentence for anyone with golden ink.. Will it work.. ? .. I replied in negative.. and if the same is written by a Judge..?.. said I understood now..

Mufti Saheb (HA)says that the first patient I treated I told him that I won't come to you but you need to apply the cure and the cure is to listen to Qur'aan from Fajar until Esha! except after Dhohar eat and sleep a rest,, why? Because Shaytaan doesn't sleep at this time! And other times he will make you sleep but you need to stay awake and listen to Qur'aan. This VBlack Magic was 15 years old! A woman with cancer checked by the best Cancer specialist in Bombay...she listened to Qur'aan all day (for 2 days) and specialist compared the reports of 2 days (before and after Qur'aan) and it was gone...SO LISTEN TO QURAAN THAT IS ALL!
Maulana Salim came to me who had been checked by a few Alims, I made him listen to Qur'an for 5-6 hours and nothing happened so I said Maulana you have nothing...He said how can it be?...He brought an Alim who asked for his name, mother's name etc and said that Maulana has something....I asked the Alim to swear by Allah (SWT) and declare it and he won't! Make sure that you read this RUQYA more then the person can bear! Qur'aan has to be LOADED on the person more then he can bear!
This is NO CHARGE no money, no cooking for foods, no clothes needed because its the Qur'aan
Listen to this CONTINOUSLY for hours and if you are not affected (physically) you have nothing and if you are affected keep treating yourself UNTIL you are no longer affected! Anyone can do this!
Alhumdolillah, the Ayaat if Ruqya have had a very beneficial effect on people suffering from cancer, those suffering from Jinn, Black Magic etc so I asked my son Abdul-Wasi (HA) whom Allah (SWT) has blessed with good voice and I have named it Rudyah number 66.
There are verses for Manzil, for peace and contenment of heart, verses for treatment (from illnesses), verses which are for acceptance of duas.
I asked my son Abdul-Wasi (HA) to recite and I have listened to them. The teaching, studying, learning, listening are all forms of worship so I make dua for Allah (SWT) to give cure to all believers and to accept all their duas (Ameen).
You should keep in mind that whenever you listen to the Qur'aan you should do so attentively and make the correct intention i.e. whatever your reason is for listening to. There are many Ruqyas (out there) but we have specifically compiled this as a "weapon for the believers"
