All this brother needs to do is to pick up his phone, ring Mufti Saheb and ask as to why:

1. They are not aware of multiple sightings across USA?
2. Dismissed those sighting?

What he is quoting is NOT a National organisation in USA but regional while Hilalsighting.org is and there are no issues.

The issue can be resolved easily via a phone call, I am just not sure why I need to do that for him? I called Mufti Saheb a few weeks/months ago and explained that his site doesn't get updated regularly. Almost 24hours have passed and it has NEITHER positive NOR negative news about moonsighting, in fact it has no news at all!

What they do is showing 1st of Rajab 1434 for today EXACTLY in line with www.hilalsighting.org/

So I am genuinly scratching my head as to what this brother wants me to do?

You don't think that Dr Salman Zafar Shaikh based in NJ is Deobandi? When did this happen? Just do one quick favour there is NO announcement from Mufti Saheb please make a quick call and just ask what they are actually saying?
