Hello and S.a. to all,

I am new to this forum. I wanted to know more about people who have had experience with hijama or cupping therapy.

Could you be healed (with the help and will of Allah of course) from your disease? Can you describe how your disease
plagued you and how hijama could help you?

I want to collect more info regarding hijama because you hear so less about it. I want to show people this thread where
former real sufferers report about their disease and how they could recover from it.

Please share your thoughts, let us show the world (and not only ourselves) that hijama really works!

Asslamo Allaikum,

I have suffered from Kidney problems and Sciatica all my life and I had Hijama done in 1999 and before that I can't remember a single Ramadhan where I completed fasting. Since Hijamah I have been relatively pain free and able to do my Salah properly but my experience with Hijamah is not normal.

I passed out and had a serious experience while I was passed out but I can say that my problem and pain went away instantly!

Jazakullah Khairun

Masaallah, subhanallah. This sounds really great. But what did you mean with "my experience with Hijamah is not normal."?
what exactly have you experienced while you passed out?

You may find this of interest about Hijama for the treatment of migraine posted recently on our hijama blog :

Hijama for the treatment of migraine - a testimonial
Hijama for the treatment of migraine - a testimonial by a patient of Darul Hijama Cupping Therapy

"I had been suffering from regular migraine attacks for twenty years. Some of my symptoms included intense pain on either one side or the back of my head, and sometimes throbbing pain behind one of my eyes.

When I experienced these symptoms, I became disabled, rendered useless and bed-bound. The intense pain was unbearable, as the symptoms also included flashing lights, high temperature in my head, nausea and severe vomiting for up to three days.

These attacks would occur randomly from once a month to 4 - 5 times a week, lasting up to three days and nights. After each attack, I would lie down in a dark room for hours on end, with my life completely on hold until the attack subsided.

Sometimes I would find relief in medication, but that was only periodic. My body would find a way to become immune to the high doses of painkillers I would take just to numb the pain in my head.

I realised after some time spent observing that there were many variations that triggered a migraine attack. These included the weather, my sleeping pattern, stress, excitement, hormones, certain smells, hydration, skipping meals and some foods (dairy, nuts and high sugar content).

For years I took daily anti depressants and triptans for my migraines, until very recently, when a family friend introduced me to Hijama Cupping therapy. Initially I was sceptical and reluctant to try it, as no medication had cured me of my illness so far. I finally decided to try blood cupping, after a rather distressing migraine attack I was up for giving anything a go.

During the session cups were applied to my head, neck, shoulders and along my back. My first session revealed literally no blood stasis from my head, with only minimal from my back and neck. Even so after my session I felt a relief and a weight lift off my head and off my shoulders. I had only two attacks that month, that were triggered by hormones. I soon realised certain foods and lifestyle changes no longer threatened my health.

So far I have attended four cupping sessions, with a three week interval between each one. Alhamdulillah the more I go, the more blood stasis is revealed.

I am now at a point where I get maybe one migraine attack a month.

I hadn't eaten Ice-cream in 18 years and after my first session I was able to have my first bowl.

Thanks to cupping therapy I can now stop worrying about when my next attack will occur. For once I am able to take care of my children and family rather than them taking care of me. It is the only remedy which has been able to relieve me of my migraines after trying everything the doctors had to offer for over twenty years. I would recommend this to anyone as it is a hundred percent safe and pain free. I owe my new life to Darul Hijama Cupping therapy.

S.a. ahealth,

this is surely a great testimonial! I guess you could write down all of the testimonials you have received so far. Just go ahead and post them here. People need to read all of them
to know more about the effectiveness of this therapy!

Oh, and also make your votes for your patients here. See, which answer fits the best for the different cases.

Salams ... yes that is a good idea, however will take a long time as we have compiled quite a bit of info on the hijama blog ...

Maybe if I share the URL (if the system will allow me to, as I am still a newbie), then you guys can visit the site and see for yourself

It is Www Ahealth Co UK (okay if a website address is not appearing here, that means I stll don't have the ability to post links yet, in which case please google : "ahealth hijama")

As far as the vote on how much people have benefited from hijama, it van vary from case to case, there are people I know who for example again with migraine, one lady suffered almost daily migraines for over 3 years, with just session of hijama, her migraines dropped to about one a month or less.

On the other hand of the scale some people report no improvement on their condition, and then everything in between (ie some need 3 or more treatments to report any significant improvements... and in some rare cases, the condition may even worsen (rare but also a possibility depending on the condition and other variables) so difficult to generalise on this issue.

Hope that helps

Salams

Clickable link for easy access.

If you would like to post in the other Hijama thread, please use the "user control panel" on the right and ask to join that section of the threads making things easier to follow and reply if needed. If you can't find it, send me a PM and InshaAllah, I will add you to that section.

Hope that helps. InshaAllah when I'm back, I will be posting my pictures of the failed acupuncture followed by the successful Hijama treatment for my stiff back (ok, so it wasn't a serious illness)

Yes nausea is quite normal, but not necessary feeling to have after Hijama. Hence the advice is always given beforehand to be on empty stomach before Hijama, and to avoid certain foods. Please see thread on cupping. Brother Brooklyn and other members have put some excellent advices and information on cupping on this
Thread.

HARMING PEOPLE, HARMING PEOPLE, HARMING PEOPLE

I just received a plea for help from a brother in Denmark who was told by a "doctor" who was performing cupping not hijama, that he required three separate treatments to be "cured" He said the first two seemed to help and then the third treatment reversed all the benefit he felt he received from the first and possibly second treatment.

When are people going to listen. Just because someone claims to be a doctor, or claims to have a certificate for hijama, does not QUALIFY them to be practicing hijama. No doubt this "doctor" received his certificate from one of these high priced 'Hijama" clinics who are cheating and harming people. The reason why he recommended three treatments is because you can make more money. Three back-to-back treatments is very dangerous. All you should have and need is one proper treatment no more than twice a year.

So please people instead of contacting me after you are cheated, listen to what we are saying here and be absolutely certain you receive your treatment from a real ijaaza practitioner. The new trick is to say that they received their ijaaza from Prophet Muhammad (saw). Shaitons, every last one of them are shaitons.

May Allah save us from such foolish people claiming to revive the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad while potentially killing Islam and people in the process.

For the honor of the most honored in creation, Saydinah Muhammad (saw).

Hijamah practitioners are popping up everywhere these days, it's another a new trend now of making money.

I had hijamah done a few years ago in Madinah, was a pretty good experience, a lot of dirty dark blood came out, felt a bit light the next few days especially when doing sujood I could feel my whole brain move forward lol

I understand what you are getting at but I slso noticed on the broken earth website that they were telling all the hijamah practitioners who are listed on their world wide directory of hijamists that if they don't pay to be certified by them ( broken earth ), they would be removed from their directory. Now that to me sounds like extortion. Who died and left broken earth to be the soul owners of issuing hijamah certifications? If I'm wrong then please correct me but this is what I read on their website not too long ago.
