Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Repeatedly in the Qur’aan & Sunnah we are reminded to place our reliance (Tawakkul) exclusively on Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) will suffice for all our needs.

Allah (SWT) saved Sayyidina Ibraheem (AS) from the fire of Namrod.

Allah (SWT) saved Sayyidina Musa (AS) from the army of Fir’uan and the waves of the sea.

Allah (SWT) saved Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and Khalifatur-Rasool Sayyidina Abu-Bakr As-Sideeq (RA) from the ferocious men of Quryash who were chasing them with nothing but a spider-web and some pigeon eggs!

So how is it Allah (SWT) CANNOT solve our problems? Have the powers of Allah (SWT) diminished and may we be saved from such a belief!

THE ONLY SUPER POWER:

The so-called "Super powers" of this world prove their weakness because they depend on other powers and forces for assistance. They join forces; they require coalitions, alliances, confederations, leagues and unions - which prove their dependency and need.

The Only Super Power is Allah Ta'ala, who is ENTIRELY INDEPENDENT of His Creation. ... He is not in need of any of us.
All are dependent on Him and He is Independent of all. He is "As-Samad" (The Independent), "Al-Kabeer" (The Greatest), and "Al-Qadir" (All-Powerful). And Allah Ta'ala's armies testify to His Infinite Power and Might.

We have witnessed the force and power of earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, gale-force winds, fire and volcanoes. Even rain and snow bring a grinding halt to the running of a country: cars, buses, trains, planes, etc. come to an absolute standstill - and nothing can be done for hours and for days. Despite the country being a so called super power, its army, navy, airforce, etc. become ineffective in overcoming these forces.

What we see of the force and power in nature, are signs of the Power and Might of Allah Ta'ala.

Also, the miniscule azaab of Allah swt in the form of the polar vortex that the Northern hemisphere is going through - has anyone been able to do anything, US faced the worst of it and continues to..I never knew what a polar vortex was until this winter.
