Deputy Speaker of Bangladeshi Parliament said in Parliament, "...We see too many women wearing the Burqa, Women should be free in their movement. Why should they cover themselves? Wearing of Burqa is increasing in the villages, women with ugly faces using religion to cover their ugly faces..."

Please post on other forums and email, whatapp friends and family and make them aware of this brutal crackdown on our Sisters and stripping them of their Hijab & Niqab in a country with 90% Muslims!

Salam. There's a lot of claims about the information being untrue, false and made up.

Most of these claims are from Bangladeshis in Bangladesh. Is this information confirmed brother? I was about to tweet this and email it and I watched the video and read the comments then came back to post here to find out if you know it's confirmed?

We don't speak Bengali so we are going by the news reports and subtitles.

If there are any Bengali readers, may be they would be able to confirm.

Wallahu alum. Bangladesh is in a bad situation and we all need to make Dua for them all.

Checked and verified by Bangali speaking Ulamah and laymen and this is nothing compared to some other filth which is being said about Islam in Bangaldesh!
