Wonder how to say "welcome back" in Arabic...

Insha-allah all is well Brother CH and insha-allah we all work well together on MS as everyone has something to contribute and many come here seeking assistance of one type or another. The info in this topic can be very useful (especially so for sisters)

Jazakallahu Khayran, Khala. In Arabic what you are saying can be translated as:

اذهب بعيدا ، أنت حمار

:P

As I understand now, the sister is in a legal battle for custody and is going for a little under a quarter of a million pound divorce settlement.

I don't know what this means from a Sharia point of view, but she's taking half of what is his legally through the courts (i.e. his share in the house and so on) and I'm happy for that to happen considering how shameful the husband was/is.

He should be taught a lesson and all those who supported him throughout this situation.

Taking advantage of a girl from a poorer country and then abusing his powers, being violent towards her and the children, coming home drunk and be demanding.

So was her marriage registered in the UK or is it because they had children together?

if the marriage is recognised then it must've been a registered marriage too.
