The iftar time seems fine. as sunset there on the first day is at 9:41pm. Where does it say they'll break their fasts BEFORE sunset??

i could probably see the reasoning of breaking fasts before sunset and suhoor after sunrise in very extreme places like say upper areas of norway or sweden......where actually the sun probably doesnt rise or set during certain times of the year. but then for those places its probably the last day the sun actually set and rose / last day of suba sadiq or the closet land where the sun does set and rise...not many thousands of miles away in Makkah

You got it from the Iftar time and assumed that to be sunset time, naturally!

To think we have issues regarding Suhoor, can you imagine the debates for sunset time. Mind you, they have a pointed out 9 proofs to back them. But I still agree about such a ruling for places such as Norway....But Glasgow

If this is the time table you mean, then it's not correct according to the 18 rule, nor is Asar time according to Hanafi school.

www.mosquedirectory.co.uk/mosques/England/London/newham/f...

Asar is around 6.40ish but here it's an hour earlier. Fajr is at 1.15ish but here it's an hour later. I think whilst doing the timetable, they forced GMT time!!!!

Someone should let them know if this is a genuine error.

I think the timetable on the website is inaccurate, maybe it hasn't been updated. I've just seen the following, and the timings seem more in line. What do you think?

Yep, that's more like it. The website carries the wrong timetable.
