That's what happens when you ask for Daaleel (daleel)

The cook/chef asks, "What can I get for you?"

"I want some Daleel first!"

So they turn up with Daal and eel.....

Can you imagine that, someone asks for Daleel and the waiter says, "Im sorry but we only serve rice with Dal" kind of reminds me of the traffic warden joke.

Or the waiter replies, "Will dal chawal be ok?"

what a stupid thread. i have met many good salafi brothers and many idiotic deobandi brothers and vice versa. mashallah the arab salafi brothers fight side by side with the deobandi pakistani/afghani mujahideen. i highly doubt that many of you have even trained to use a weapon let alone go anywhere near the frontline. remember, the munafiq will NEVER fight on the frontline. and those that die without fighting on the frontline and neither have a desire to fight on the frontline die in a state of a type of nifaq. i am sure you have read the hadith. its not all black and white. mashallah you hazrats are very nice deobandis but being deobandi hasnt made you get off your backside and prove that you are not a munafiq so dont think too highly of yourselves as you prance around on your high horse, cos that salafi that gets martyred on the frontline is going to be more closer to Allah then the deobandi who hasnt even said oof to the kuffar.

Well each one has his own taste.

I agree with this 100%. However, we don't know the intentions of anyone so we can't place a blanket rule on all salafis or deobandis. There are plenty of threads that speak about this forgotten obligation. Here is one of them www.muftisays.com/forums/12-virtues/5415-jaishemuhammad-s...

you dont think a martyr is going to be close to Allah as opposed to a person who is content doing nothing while the kuffar are attacking the muslims and the muslim lands?

as for being a hypocrite, i was actually paraphrasing a hadith. i wasnt deciding who is a hypocrite. i was just saying what the Prophet (saw) said about those who die in a state where they have neither fought nor had the desire to fight.

"One who dies but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or determination) for Jihad dies the death of a hypocrite."

Yes but how do you know what the persons intention is to fight? It could be for riya dnt get me wrong im not saying it is but there is a posibility that it could be... You dont know their intention....therefore you cannot class him as a martyrانما الاعمال بالنيات......unless you get some ilhaam that the salafi is a martyr....

how do you know a person who proclaims the kalimah is a muslim? he could be a munafiq. you dont know their intention. so according to your logic you cant classify him as a muslim.

how do you know the intention of a person who prays his 5 times salaah in the masjid?

how do you know the intention of a person who fasts in ramadhan?

how do you know the intention of a person who give zakaat every year?

how do you know the intention of a person who performs hajj?

so according to your logic all the above people could be munafiqs and can be rubbished away!

but why stop at salafis? how do you know the deobandi who fights on the frontline is not a munafiq? according to your logic he cannot be classed as a martyr either!

alhamdolillah those that return to Allah on the frontline are classed as martyrs by the mujahideen regardless of whether they are salafi/deobandi or whatever else. the salafi prays janazah salaat for the deobandi and the deobandi prays jazazah salaat for the salafi. each are brothers unto one another. they are classed as martyrs by the people that matter. they are classed as martyrs by the quran and hadith. they are classed as martyrs by the ulama including deobandi ulama. your opinion is something strange which i have never heard before. everyone will get judged on their intention by Allah. you do not have the right to judge anyones intention. i would much rather trust a person who has left his family and his wealth and his home to live a life of hardship on the frontline and give up his life for Allah than a person who has not even been close to the frontline. maybe you are the munafiq???

this is a stupid argument. on the frontline no one is salafi. no one is deobandi. no one is whatever. everyone is a brother to his brother. everyone looks out for his brother. everyone protects his brother. everyone is willing to sacrifice themselves for his brother. if a brother were to attain shahadah, everyone will take part in carrying his body to a safe place regardless of who they are. everyone will help dig the grave regardless of who they are. everyone will take part in the janazah salaat regardless of who they are. everyone will make dua and be happy for his martyrdom regardless of who they are.

NO ONE WILL JUDGE HIS INTENTION AS THIS IS BETWEEN THE MARTYR AND ALLAH
