Islamic geometric patterns are one of the major forms of Islamic ornament, which tends to avoid using figurative images.....

That's all :)

Something interesting (maybe):

A combination of the photoreceptors in our eyes having a delay and adapting to rapid light intensities and levels with the refresh delay on the screen causes a pretty cool effect on static photos like this one when you scroll it on the screen.

If you scroll it up and down on the screen, depending on the speed of scrolling you'll notice the patterns fade or even completely disappear. Use 2nd of 3rd image for this. You'll see why shortly.

Since the patterns are fairly thin or very similar in colour and intensity (shade) and the screen consisting of alternating rows of pixels, any time you scroll by an odd number of pixels, there will be a brief moment when your screen is switching between two shifted copies of the pattern, so where a pixel was occupied with one colour has immediately changed to another which causes a "flicker"

This is one the reason "gamers" go for monitors with higher Hertz. That's how fast images can refresh on a screen.

Remember I mentioned it's a combination of eyes as well. Try it with just the eyes. It's not easy because instinctively the eyes follows movement so try by fixing your eyes to one spot on the pattern and then move entire phone down without moving where you're looking. It's difficult but you'll see a very tiny flicker. That's the light change still registering in the brain.

Even more fascinating is on the last screenshot with strong white text when you focus slightly behind of the image (phone) and just notice the pattern and then moving phone around slowly you'll notice the pattern moving independently off the text or the text is floating. This one isn't easy to do but you want to focus past your phone until you see double side by side. If you don't look silly doing this you're probably not doing it right.
