Asslamo Allaikum Brothers,

I never claimed that action of hosting British Army Soldiers is/was done under the Mushwara of either Hazrat (Maulana) Yusuf Motala (HA) or Shaykyul-Hadeeth (Maulana) Abdur-Raheem Limbada (HA) and not even claimed that they are aware of this.

To the best of my knowledge this Masjid and their committee have done Mushwara with Hazrat (Maulana) Yusuf Motala (HA) and Hazrat (HA) have advised them on numerous occasions. I have also that Shaykyul-Hadeeth (Maulana) Abdur-Raheem Limbada (HAhas programs in that Masjid, weekly.

If any of the above is:

  1. Incorrect
  2. a lie
  3. Slander
  4. Disrespectful to any of the Akabir

All in all this Masjid, Ulamah and committee do have a relationship so consult the Ulamah and ask the question if its permissable to host the Army like this. If they deny that this is a rumour and it never happened, even better. If they say that its permissable to host Non-Muslims (of this nature and category) then present their answer in public to say "there is nothing wrong with that".

If someone feels strongly about it or Bay't to Akabir please bring it to their attention. We have not issued any statements or judgement calls rather consulted a top Mufti and then taken his permission to make his Fatwa public and there is no underhanded tactics or secrets.

Please state so and I will apologise and retract straight away. I have written this in PUBLIC so my error should be pointed out in PUBLIC so I can retract and apologise.

Jazakullah Khairun

MashaAllah, you are looking at it from many angles.

All I am looking at for now is how any Masjid would allow it. Deobandi, Barelwi, or Salafi, it should not have been the case.

I stress on my very first post and agree with every point you make plus more.

Asslamo Allaikum Brother,

A program to remember the Akabir of Deoband by major Deobandi Ulamah of UK in this very Masjid; I believe. Again I am asking to be corrected if this is a lie or forgery or disrespectful in anyway.

Has anyone contacted the masjid?
Have they given their reasons for allowing this disgrace to take place?
Do they have the backing of any strong ulamaa in light of shar'ee ahkaam such as the najis entering the masjid?
Was there any benefit in this whatsoever?
I am still very disturbed by all this

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 17:

The idolaters have no right to visit the mosques of Allah while bearing witness to unbelief against themselves, these it is whose doings are null, and in the fire shall they abide.

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 18:

Only he shall visit the mosques of Allah who believes in Allah and the latter day, and keeps up prayer and pays the poor-rate and fears none but Allah; so (as for) these, it may be that they are of the followers of the right course.
