Only the photo is taken with that. The lens is telescope. It wasn't easy holding up phone flush with lens to not let light escape and then close focus, high shutter speed and medium iso. But the pen definitely helps as i ran out of hands.
I did take photos of stars directly with phone from the garden though using manual settings and it's amazing how many stars there are than what reaches our retina. I'll post those in that thread and you can verify the authenticity. Glad i don't leave the gps EXIF data on.

Now you realise how big this star is compared to the sun, absolutely magnificent!
If you look up into the sky (today) you will see a bright star just to the left of the moon (face the moon and turn your head about 40° to the left) that's sirius, the brightest star in the night sky visible to the naked eye. There are 2 stars that orbit in ellipses, double bow shape and takes 49 years to do so. And No, the shiny sparkle near the Moon is not a star, that's Venus :)
This orbiting style was hinted in Surah Najm too. (possibly verse 9) It was fairly recently that astronomers found out that Sirius is actually 2 stars A & B and that they orbit in a bow shape
It's located in Canis Major. Much further away is VY Canis Majoris which had been discussed much earlier in the thread. A gigantic star.
Interesting that its mentioned in Verse 49 and that it also takes just 49 years to orbit.
Sirius is easily seen just after sunset. Trying to identify it now (even darker outside) you'll see many more stars (constellations) now. (clear skies in London)
Personally, I love astronomy. I was even able to take a class about it while in HS.
I lost a lot of interest in pursuing it personally because I grew up in an area of heavy light "pollution" and not being able to afford a decent telescope.
It's never stopped me from appreciating all of the wonderful pictures that can be obtained though or the views available at night.

I had asked a space scientist, "you maintain the orbits and position of satellites (weighing a few tonnes) by periodically firing rockets fitted on satellites, how millions of tonnes of celestial objects (including earth) maintain their orbits precisely"
Also the "space scientist" must be a 5 year old to not know the answer to that. From our perspective it is Allah Ta'ala but from his perspective it can be explained and many things which are still not understood but this isn't too difficult to explain
They probably couldn't answer because of the invalid theory in the question. Satellites don't need fuel once in orbit. The momentum and the force of gravity are balanced. They only fire rockets to change orbit and change positions.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
