In defense of the articles of Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam)

Muhammad Al Hassan Dedew (salafi scholar from Mauritania) made 3 statements in a lecture on TV some time back, that the 'ulama have judged to be absolutely unacceptable and extremely dangerous for the belief of the Muslim masses.

One of the statements was "There is no difference between the 'amaama [turban] of Nabi (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and the turban of Abu Lahab for instance"...

A great scholar, in his seventies, Muhammad Abdullah Ibn Sayyid (HA), has written a 45 page book in refutation of those statements, where he explained why they are problematic, and gave evidences from relevant sources on why it is important to maintain etiquette with Nabi (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and rever all things that are associated with him, from far and close, and how the Sahabah RA did this.
